Description We are closed to the public due to Covid and doing adoptions by appointment only. We are not open for walk-ins. You can see all of our adoptable animals on our website and fill out adoption applications for cats and dogs that you are interested in meeting. Once we receive and review applications, we can schedule you to come for a meet and greet.

I adopted two kittens from the Lange Foundation in September 2023 after visiting numerous shelters around West LA. I appreciated how well-cared for the animals were, how much time I was able to spend with all the cats and how easy everyone made the process. When I returned the next day to pick up the cats, everyone at Lange made sure I had everything I needed -- medical info, toys, treats and food. The kittens adjusted to their new home so fast and I know that's because of the love and care they received at Lange.

I have had a very positive experience adopting cats from the Lange Foundation. They were very accommodating and knowledge when I came to meet the cats in their care. They answered all my questions and gave great feedback about what would be good for the cats and in the cats' best interest. They knew all of their cats very well and their facilities are clean and compassionate. They made adoption easy and have been supportive and responsive with my concerns since. I highly recommend them. It's very clear that they care about animals and want them to find great homes.

Such a great pet rescue!! The place is clearly well-run and it feels clean, bright, and inviting. All the cats we visited with were incredibly sweet and it was SO hard to make a decision. But we did and he has not stopped purring since we got home! So happy we decided to choose this foundation to find our second kitty through 😊

I’ve worked with Lange for over 15 years!! AMAZING Rescue — and I don’t say it lightly!! They truly are one of the BEST Rescue Organization I work with — I’ve been an animal behaviorist for over 35 years. They know all their animals really well, amazing care and they stand behind their adoptions. And the staff? Beyond adorable and super sweet!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to adopt any dog or cat!! 🤗

This place is THE BEST. Not only do they let you pet and hang out with all the animals, but if you want, you can even take them home. For FREE! It's basically heaven with animals. And really nice and helpful (in a non-creepy way) people who introduce you to them. I still remember the first time I went as a kid so many years ago... I've never been the same since.
