So far we only use their grooming. We are most likely making a switch very soon. The staff there are amazing and very friendly. After being banned from 4 major grooming salons, we had to turn to a place that did sedated grooming. They wanted to try a groom without, before sedating him. Not sure how, but they have the magic touch. He still hates being groomed (he's very old), but they haven't needed to sedate him and he always looks adorable. So glad I found them. They are more than worth the drive for us.

I found Chenal Valley through a Google search, attracted by its proximity and a 4.5-star rating. Our pup only needed shots. Our first visit cost nearly $200 with a $90 office visit fee. However, the experience wasn't as pleasant as expected – the front desk lacked warmth and the whole atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The use of spray cheese as dog treats didn't sit well with me. While the vet was okay, I sensed a lack of deep knowledge. When our dog injured his leg, my husband suggested trying elsewhere. That's when we made the switch to Pleasant Valley. The difference was striking – warmth, welcoming staff, and a more reasonable approach to pet care costs. Check out my Google review on them and you'll see how a vet experience can be truly different and amazing. I highly recommend Pleasant Valley over Chenal, considering the latter's high costs without corresponding quality of care. :/

Chenal Valley was able to get me in yesterday on a panicked whim after a cancellation at another clinic. They and Dr. Kline were the only clinic in central Arkansas willing to see my (non poisonous) poison dart frog. Dr. Kline was an amazingly experienced and well informed exotics vet. Her previous experience with not only amp 3amphibians, gave me the comfort and reassurance needed to care for something as fragile as a dart frog. All of the technicians and front end staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. This was my first visit to Chenal Valley AH and I am very impressed. Attached is a photo of my little guy before his injury, and I am confident with Dr. Kline’s help he will return to his previous bright and beautiful self. Edit: 30 Aug - another reason for me to shout this clinic from the rooftops. Dr. Kline and staff were able to nearly cure a whites tree frog of a Sparganosis infection, which is almost always lethal for the frog. 5 weeks of constant monitoring and medication later, she is happy and healthy. I cannot express my gratitude enough for this clinic. I attached another photo of my big lady :)

Girls at the front desk were very sweet, groomer came and spoke to me about the way I wanted my babies haircut and the drop off process was very easy. Will bring my baby back for her next haircut if I'm still in Arkansas when the time comes again. Thank you so much

Used to love this vet. However, today I brought my cat in for a quick check. I noticed he had some dry patches on his ears. Turns out it’s just dermatitis and was prescribed an ointment. I was there for maybe 10 minutes and they charged me $200. The ointment they gave me is $10 on chewy - Chenal charged me $40. They swabbed his ears and checked for mites (I was charged $60 for that). It’s laughable honestly. I literally went to the ER last week, had an X-ray and EKG and I was charged less (without insurance to boot). Seems like now they’re in the business of gouging peoples pockets. Definitely am looking to switch vets. If you’re considering this vet, I would research more fair clinics first.

I had taken my Yorkie to a couple of places and they had a hard time with grooming her. One of them suggested Chenal Valley Animal Hospital and Holly was able to get her groomed with no problem. I will be taking my Yorkie there for all needs going forward!
