This place is VERY shady. My wife and I applied for a puppy up for adoption. We were told our app looked good and it was being reviewed. We even met the puppy in person and it was a great interaction. The head woman even said things were great and we should hear something by the next day. After several days we finally were asked a few questions and then nothing. Last I heard was questions about sleeping in a bed and that was 2 weeks ago. This is a story told by many, even for this specific puppy which I’ve heard they no showed to an house walkthrough. Unprofessional, unresponsive and I truly believe it’s a money grab. Many accounts prove it and even cases against them for fraud. Personally I offered to buy supplies in person and was told nothing is needed. The following day the post on social media begging for money to be sent to a personal Venmo account. Beware of sending money! I truly feel bad for the animals involved as they are being denied loving homes.

Karyn and Ashley are absolutely amazing humans with huge hearts for animals! We’re adopting through the rescue and Karyn’s been in touch and very receptive and open to answering and asking questions to ensure a good fit with our family and a pup. I had a great experience working with this rescue. Karyn was quick to reply and provided a foster to adopt checklist/background/housing checks. She was reachable by phone and Facebook checking in on our foster weekly. Safe and Sound provided tons of toys, puppy pads, crate, leash, halter, Nutrish food and many treats for the dog. I welcomed my happy little pup home and have never looked back. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience!

This rescue is so unprofessional. First of all their website never showed adoptable dogs. My family put in an application for a puppy and never heard back. We tried emailing, calling, PM, DM, commenting for over 2 months trying to reach someone. Never heard an answer and they claim the dog is still up for adoption when in reality it isn’t. So many others were trying to reach out and get in touch with this rescue and not one person can answer. Very disappointing and not reliable what so ever.

She flys in puppies that are being bred down south and poses them as rescues. She feeds them horrible food. and treats them like objects. Scammer! please beware
