If I was able to give 0 stars I totally would !! Don't bring your pups to this Hospital! I took my 8-month old husky there because she wasn't eating, was throwing up, and had diarrhea and my baby died 2 days later. She was seen by Dr. William Husky and he only suggested a few shots and an X-Ray. She had that done and was sent home with some prescribed medication. Dr. Husky said she was stable and that she had probably eaten something bad to her stomach. My baby was able to walk when we took her that Thursday night and the next day she was super weak. I didn't think much of it because he said she was stable and I figured the medication had her feeling fatigued. I was under the impression she was going to get better and she passed the day after. Before she passed, she began bleeding from her genital area and throwing up. I called the hospital that Saturday, an hour before she passed, so I could speak to the doctor and give him updates on my husky. They told me he wasn't there but that they were going to call him to let him know the status of my dog. When she passed, I called back and all they said was that they were sorry and proceeded to offer me their cremation services. Don’t bring your animals to this hospital!! All they care about is getting paid and nothing else. © Useful 4 © Funny o @ Cool
They have been terrific in treating both my dogs many times over the years through multiple surgeries and various health issues. Dr. Schulman is terrific and really goes out of his way to both play with my dogs to gain their trust, and explain to me their health issues in ways I can understand. They are very professional about sharing cost estimates in advance and ensuring those estimates are not exceeded. I can't recommend them highly enough.
My favorite vet! I’ve been bringing my dogs to this office for 10 years and they will always be my go-to. Originally I was referred by a friend who runs a dog rescue after my dog was injured and suffered rear-leg paralysis. Although he wasn’t in pain, the first neurologist at another office said right away that I should put my dog down without offering any options for handling his injury. When Dr. Schulman met my dog he sat on the floor with him and explained all our options with such empathy and compassion unlike the first vet. Their office has wonderful vet techs and other great vets as well. When my special needs pup passed, their office sent me a very sweet sympathy card signed by the techs and vets that had always given him such loving care. I cannot recommend them enough.
I want to thank Dr. Schulman for always the fantastic service and ALWAYS being there for my dog "Sofie." He has done so much for her, to keep her healthy and active. I have been going to Dr. Schulman for over 25 years with all my pets in the past. I recommend everyone I know to him. Office staff is very helpful and has ALWAYS given me a detailed written estimate.
I live down the street, but I will never return again. Agree with all comments about money, as I was charged 1200 nearly the total amount prior to any work being done and was told additional fees for suture removal. When I came in crying and told them it was an emergency they had no empathy, sense of urgency or personality at all. They need a whole new front desk staff and better communicating about options and assessment prior to charging. These are our family members you're working on 🥺 it's not all about business, is it? In general, you will feel unheard, uncared for and unappreciated.
My puppy was put down at this hospital today. Some of the doctors are professionals but i just don't understand why they didn't give my puppy a blood test upon arriving. He was hospitalized on the second day and i paid $1800 in total. On the third day, another doctor examined him and we decided to give him the blood test. It turns out that my puppy's liver was not functioning and his chance of survival is below 20%. I would have to pay $8000-$10,000 to give it a try but the doctor did not recommend it as this problem might reoccur even if he is fully healed. So why didn't they give him the blood test since I first got here? I just feel like they want me to hospitalize my puppy to get paid and then on the next day tells me that he is not going to make it. Whats even worse is that when the doctor was putting down my puppy, the receptionist and the hospital's manager, MANAGER was SINGING THE BIRTHDAY SONG!!! Do you know how hard it was to see your pet leaving this world while hearing the people outside singing and laughing? Don't tell me they have no idea that my pet is being put down. It was ridiculous and when I walked out of the room, they didn't even notice me leaving. THE MANAGER AND RECEPTIONIST DON'T GIVE AF ABOUT YOUR PET. THE ONLY THING IN THEIR EYES IS $$$. Here is a picture of my puppy before all this nonsense. I will be glad if anyone who sees this give him prayers.
