Dr Kim Bhuta is the very best, there is no one like her that I would trust with my fur baby! I have been going to her for YEARS and wherever she goes we go! This clinic is also clean and offer dog teeth cleanings without being put to sleep, just like when we go to the Dentist! They are absolutely incredible and so blessed to have been told about it by Dr Kim! Back to Dr Bhuta lol She is an ANGEL and deserves the very best in life for all the great things she does to help dogs and us pet parents. God bless you Dr Bhuta!

I used to bring my dogs here and I’ve always trusted them. I should’ve known something was different when the dental prices change from around $700/1000 to $3000! They were very kind and let me bring in my dog who was having a pancreatitis attack which I was not aware of at the moment, I just knew she had been sick for two days. the vet gave me Flagyl for diarrhea, and anti-nausea medication. My dog began exhibiting symptoms of neurotoxin poisoning , when she started having twitches and drooling, and eventually her back legs wouldn’t work anymore. This was only after four doses of the medicine I was supposed to give her for 7 days. She began having bad seizures and initially I thought it was just her decline from the pancreatitis attack but then I reread the flagyl side effects in the very last sentence says it will cause seizures and some dogs and wobbling and it’s a Nuro toxin. As soon as I realized, I called the vet and rushed her in to have the antidote given to her. The vet denied it could be poisoning from the medicine. After a lengthy lecture of all the test I should be doing for my dog who was clearly dying at that time I begged her to please give her the antidote shot which was essentially Valium. My dog did much better that day. She was awake alert. She had one more decent day of life, and when I asked the doctor about when this medicine wears off, she said well then it would be something else and not the Flagyl, because that only lasts for eight hours in the body. Well after doing my own research it last 24 to 36 hours in the body so she was completely wrong! A simple search showed me that. She wouldn’t give me any follow up medication to help my dog and insisted that she have labs and tests to run even though they couldn’t show anything conclusive at this point when my dog was about to die. I called the next day and asked for suppositories or another shot, because my dog begin having seizures again as soon as the first shot wore off, they refused. Again, denying it was toxic exposure to this drug that She had prescribed for seven days for my 4 pound dog to take, who had kidney disease. I asked her if it was safe!!. And by the way, she charged me another $100 to see her , for her to lecture me about all the tests and labs I needed to get my dog when I just wanted her to have an antidote shot.. I had seen her less than a week before. My dog died yesterday morning. I have to say that this is NOT the same hospital that I used to come to. It’s a money pumping machine. I agree with other people who have left one star reviews. I don’t know why the doctor couldn’t believe that she was poisoned by this neurotoxin medicine when my dog exhibited all of the symptoms written on the labels warnings. And after my dog died, I began researching Flagyl and how it’s not supposed to be for veterinary use, but is used anyway. Many peoples dogs have died, and had seizures taking this medication. My dog did have this before and did perfectly fine, but it was only one dosage that they gave her, for some reason this doctor thought it was OK to give my little tiny dog a whole week worth of this toxic, horrible medicine. She NEVER told me to watch out for the effects that might happen to her, neither did the pharmacy that made the medicine for my dog. I am so so disappointed and so heartbroken because my dog could’ve survived the pancreatitis attack, but I’ll never know now. I do know for sure she was poisoned by the flagyl this doctor prescribed her. As her mother I should’ve known not to give it to her after she began drooling after the 2nd dose and twitching, but I kept giving it to her and now she’s dead. She wasn’t even 10 years old. I so wish I had taken her somewhere else, but this is where I have been coming for years & I thought the care and the Dr.’s were the same. Even though the doctor was very nice, I think she’s very ill informed to think this medicine which has poisoned & killed so many dogs is OK to give out like candy without expressing the dangers to our animals. I miss her so much. :( truly devastated

We have been customers for 15 years with 2 wheaten terriers. We have always received great care from the vets, the techs and front desk team. It is easy to schedule an appointment through their website or call. We had emergencies 2-3 times and they were on the ball to help our 4 paws. One was a life saver. Parking is on the lot and they newly remodeled, looks great! Other thing to note, Overland Veterinary Clinic offers on-site non anesthetic dental cleaning ($250) and it is the best cleaning job our wheaten had. I wish my teeth were that white:))

Unpleasant experience overall at this clinic. Skye especially made it her job to be rude to clients who were waiting on their diagnostic results. Not to mention, the results here are incredibly delayed. I was promised that results would come out within 3 days, only to call after 4 days, and to be told that the panel would take 7 days to complete... Which is completely different from what I was told at first when I walked in to meet with the vet. Nothing here is standardized or well-maintained. Employees here are rude. This was probably the worst experience I've had at a vet thus far, avoid at all costs!!!!!!!! If management is willing to address these concerns, I am willing to take down this review. Disappointment followed by disappointment - currently still do not have the diagnostic results after 4 days, when I was guaranteed I'd receive it within 3 days. Not reliable.

Overland is the best. Taking amazing care and compassion for our two labradoodles. Dr. Bhuta is THE best vet in Los Angeles.

Pricing is reasonable and Dr. Goetz is great with my elderly cat Dutchess!
