I came to get two of my cats microchipped. They were very quick and helpful. It was also much cheaper than my vets office. I'd rather do it here because I figured they certainly have their records in the computer and I don't have to worry about different microchips, not registering or coming up in their system if God forbid they got lost.

Let a dog who has been shut in a hot garage for hours stay with the owner. The garage is loaded with junk. Lee county thinks it's OK to leave a dog in a Un air-conditioned garage for hours on end. Their excuse was there's a fan in there and water? Like to see them locked in a hot garage for hours on end. Dog is still there. Very sad and inhumane. The owner has gotten citations for tethering their dog outside on a thick chain in all kinds of weather, yet the dog was never taken. Baffles me the logic behind animal services for not taking the poor dog.

I adopted my dog here and they have been awesome! From the beginning, answering my MANY questions- to now! I go by at least once a week, and get some nice stuff for my dog with a donation! I love cycling his stuff out, this shelter is an amazing resource for the community.

The shelter is the place to go to adopt. The people were so nice in helping us find the perfect kitty. Also, the shelter is very clean and well run. Highly recommend!!! Our little Missy really is a beauty!!!
