I have lived in several states and always had pets. Therefore I have had numerous veterinarians. They all were fine for the most part. Nothing extremely negative or positive. I moved to Fort Myers, Florida and gave to precious Yorkie puppies a home. I was talking about them at work and one of my coworkers said that she took her pets to a wonderful veterinarian, BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL HOSPITAL. That is how I began taking my 2 puppies there. It was a perfect match for us. I have never bonded with a veterinarian as I did with Dr. George as did my babies. She was so thorough. She discovered that both of my 8 week old Yorkies had a congenital disease. She found this through blood work, visual signs from pups, ultrasounds and even opened an account with Cornell University to have a unique blood test performed. She stood by us as did her technicians offering overwhelming emotional support. I could not have gotten through the entire 2 to 3 months of testing and diagnosing without their unbelievable support and reassurance. My pups, Cosmo and Annie are doing well and I made it through the months of not knowing how everything was going to turn out all because of the exceptional knowledge, commitment and kindness from the team at BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL HOSPITAL located in Fort Myers, Florida.
