Working with American Adoptions was just so so wonderful. This agency was actually our second adoption agency to work with. The first agency, we were on the waiting list for 4 years for domestic adoption. Unfortunately, they closed our program. I was searching for another agency, American Adoptions kept popping up and my heart was telling my husband and I to begin the adoption process over with American. From the beginning to the end & even 9 months after adopting our baby girl, the communication has been just amazing. Not even the communication, but the whole process was as smooth & great as it could be. Meetings were set up every week once a week once we got a phone call to be chosen by a birth mom. I just highly highly recommend this agency. Thank you, American Adoptions for everything!!

When my family decided that we were going to adopt, we researched all of the major adoption agencies in the U.S. American Adoptions was by far the top choice. Not only are they owned and run by an adoptee, but they are very personable and always answered the phone (which was not the case at most agencies). They were very helpful with guiding us through the process. We highly recommend American Adoptions for anyone looking to adopt.
