Description Here at Big John's Little Barn, we love animals. All animals! But especially... HORSES! We rescue horses from kill-pens and other terrible situations across NC, rehabilitate them for riding, working, therapy, or just being a pasture pet to live out the rest of their days in comfort. Our hearts have always held a passion for animals, and no one had a bigger heart than Big John. Big John, better know to most as Pop, was one of the largest men you would've met. He stood about 6'8", weighted about same as a Buick, had to turn sideways to fit through a door, and drove trucks for Bi-Lo (an old grocery chain). But he always loved everyone he met. And he would let you know to. Every meeting ended with... "Nice to have met you! Love ya!"
