So glad to have been told about this place! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Bought this gorgeous guy there along with the plants-they have a big selection of plants and moss that’s locally grown! The betta fish also came with the plant he was housed in, awesome added bonus!

I love this store and I want to give a higher rating but I've gone to the store and spent hundreds of dollars and I only get 1 stamp on my stamp card each DAY I visit, not every certain dollar amount I spend and that feels like a scam. Your stamp card only gives me $5 off. I just spent almost $100 dollars and got 1 stamp? Please rework this because from my perspective I should have put everything but 1 item back, gotten my 1 stamp for the day, and come back again tomorrow and done the same thing over again with the way the stamp system works. Lame. :(

Sorry it took so long to make my way here. Unbeatable prices, a very informed staff, and every single employee has the greatest attitude to match. The store is beautiful, clean, and very well stocked. Beats shopping online or the big box store any day of the week. New customer for life.

The best pet shop in Humboldt county. I keep a lot of reptiles and it can be hard to find the things they need in small communities. They have basically all I need and great employees who are friendly and knowledgeable.

Do not go here if you have a saltwater tank. This is the second time they have sold me saltwater that was much to salty for fish to live in. Salinity level was 75 ppt when it should be around 35 ppt. Specific gravity is at 1.055. This saltwater would have harmed my fish and coral. I will not give this store any more of my business.

I love this store. they have just about everything you need. They have a great selection of fish they have a good selection of reptiles and they have just about anything you need for four legged friends or Wing friends. And their prices are fair.
