Amazing interaction! Saw a female fox with the babies and reached out. A rep contacted me in minutes and provided great pointers. Thanks for all the help and work you and the team does!

I truly believe in the mission statement of this organization. “The Canid Project’s mission is to document and share the stories of wild canids, as well as the stories of humans and the wild canids who enter each other's lives in some capacity. We actively present this creative and educational information through our photography, non-fiction narrative, conservation photography workshops, and community outreach to inspire and educate the public. We strive to shed light on how these relationships shape our views on the wild canid species and the ramifications, both negative and positive, they present.” I have had the privilege of working with the Canid Project and going on one of their photography workshops. The experiences I have had with them have been illuminating. Learning about these wild canids and seeing them in their natural environment is beyond words. Wildlife should be respected and left to be wild. They have every right to be here as much as we do. Through the Canid Project I have garnered a greater understanding of them and their plight in today’s world. They are not like your dog or cat, they are wild animals and should not be fed, disturbed or eradicated. Observing them from a distance and respecting them is what is in their best interests. I highly recommend everyone read their stories and see how you can help canids in your area.
