Description Rowlett Veterinary Clinic was opened in 1977 by Dr. Curtis Jung and was one of the first veterinarians in Rowlett Texas. Still located on Hwy 66 he began construction on the current location. After many hours of manual labor, Dr. Jung and his wife Mrs. Betty completed their dream and opened the current location in 1986. In 2014, after 37 years in practice, Dr. Jung made the hard decision to retire and sold his practice to Legacy Veterinary Group. His practice lives on with our wonderful veterinarians, Dr. Dona Elton and Dr. Lindsey Sampson that continue to love and care for his furry friends.

I was very satisfied with the vibes in the clinic overall. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Though our baby is super friendly towards people, he is dog aggressive so we stepped out to assess the lobby, the front desk staff asked other patients to kindly switch seats and held the door open so that we could exit without incident. It went very smoothly. I totally recommend you bring your pets here.

Unfortunately I had to put my sweet Moose to sleep at the beginning of February. The vet (I wish I could remember her name. She has really cool thin gold framed square glasses and a long lightish brown slicked back ponytail) and her team were OUTSTANDING! Respectful, kind to my family and my boy, and met us where we were at financially. You can really tell that they do it out of compassion and their love for animals! They even sent us a card with multiple paw and nose prints because of how many people were with Moose when he passed. There’s a lot of vets out there that feel that they’re doing it for the money, cold-hearted, and unfriendly- but I’m happy to say that this clinic is not one of those! I will be bringing my current pets and future pets only to this clinic from now on! Thank you for all that y’all do. I can’t thank you enough or explain how grateful I am! You all are angels sent from heaven!

My experience here has been wonderful! I have always been apprehensive about taking my pets to the vet, but the staff here are great and make me feel very at ease. Dr. Elton and Bri took extra special care with my toy poodle during his dental cleaning and Dr. McConnell and Chesleigh made sure my 8-year-old girl who I had spayed made it home safe and was good as new in no time flat! They always make time for my pets even when I call in last minute, I was able to get seen the same day I called in about a ripped toenail! All the Staff here are very knowledgeable and willing to help you figure out the best way to care for your pet.

Dr Hogue is amazing. Mr Kitty recently had an acute liver attack and was so sick. She was gentle, kind, empathetic and explained options and potential outcomes . No false hope, yet gentle and kind. Simply THE BEST!

The best vet clinic we have ever been to! We have been taking our cats here since they were 8 weeks old and we love everyone who works there! When it was time for them to be spayed and neutered they took such great care of them and let me be a bother and call multiple times to check on them! When i thought they were having complications post op, everyone i spoke to listened to my concerns and helped me immediately! I couldn't be more grateful for the staff here! They are kind, knowledgeable and so helpful. We recommend them to everyone!
