There are really no words to describe how grateful we are to Destin emergency vet clinic for saving our sweet doggy’s life. They were so patient and helpful in guiding us through the hard decision we had to make. It was obvious they cared so much about saving her life. They made it work within our financial constraints, and when we took our dog for a follow up visit to her regular vet, he said Dr Carroll did a beautiful job on the surgery and that our dog was lucky to be alive. Thank you so much, Destin emergency vet clinic for giving us more time with our Pauli girl!

If I could give them 10 stars I would , we brought our miniature schnauzer rocky in rough shape . He had got stung by a bee and went into shock. My family had called in ahead of time to let them know we were coming . When arrived , they took him back directly . We started paper work and they promptly let us know about the 1200$ to start with . Not any different from a ER room for our kids or what not. After they got him under control and back to doing better they come and talked to us about what happened and what needs to happen next. They kept him over night and let us call through out the night to check on him. The vet Dr . Shannon and vet assistants were awesome and we appreciate them saving a part of our family. I will highly recommend them .

I’m from Dothan Al, I have a pet duck and no vets here would see her….i get down there and within 20 minutes she was fixed and we were on our way! They are very friendly and very caring. She had a ruptured air sack. The first picture is before we got there, the second one is when we got home. (2 and a half hours later)

DO NOT GO HERE !!!!! They misdiagnosed our boxer Jax and told us he wouldn’t make it through the night . They Recommended us to put him down and we listened to what they said because they are professionals and we didn’t want him to suffer . Now just a week later our other dog got sickly with Coccidia ! So now we have learned our boxer Jax was basically murdered by the cook of a old man that misdiagnosed him because he was in a hurry ! The bedside manner during the procedure was also horrible !!!!!!!!! We have lost our family too early because of this Dr’s negligence. My disabled daughter has lost her best friend , sleeping buddy and protector way too soon ! I have so much anger for this place and honestly myself for trusting this office with my Jax ! Stay far away from this expensive and horrible excuse for a vet! Although they can never make this right , We reach out to them to let them know what happened and how they misdiagnosed him and they we’re absolutely horrible . No remorse and they refused to even give us a refund for the $1200 charge to euthanize our sweet boy . Their negligence is absolutely outstanding and they refuse to take responsibility ! All he needed was medicine for a Parasite and they literally told me he was dying and I needed to put him down ! Please do not trust these people with your pet . Take your pet To PCB or Tallahassee even . They only care about making insane amounts of money . They do not care for your pet , just quick money ! We had blood work done also at our regular vet right before and everything ended up coming back negative for any cancer ! Malpractice and negligence at its best ! We will be filing a complaint with the State of Florida !

My 1 yr old puppy was hit by a truck this morning. I ran her to this ER vet. The staff was wonderful. I appreciate you. I had to put my puppy down today, due to No financing. Either cash, credit or care credit. Sometimes those don't work. I would have financed the surgeries for years to still have my sweet puppy with me now. Please, for the sake of many more pets with owners that may not be extremely wealthy, please get financing available.

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Nick Thompson, Katherine, and Jennie for helping my elderly cat over Labor Day weekend. My much-loved cat suffered a severe reaction to an injection. Thanks to the compassion and professional care at the Clinic, my cat (and I) are well on the way to healing.
