We have been with this vet for years and I can't say enough how much I appreciate them. My dog Pua has major anxiety and is not the easiest dog to deal with, our tech Gabi is just the best, she comes out to our car to welcome her and make her feel loved. She takes super good care of us and the whole staff makes the visit smooth.

I was told I had to pay a non refundable deposit to make an appointment because my account was flagged for no showing on appointments which never happened. They used to be my favorite vet but the way they currently run their practice is ridiculous. If they’re your primary vet and you have an emergency they won’t see you and refer you to the emergency vet because they overbook and don’t really care. You’ll have to make appointments weeks in advance. It’s a shame and they used to be better than what they have become and I can no longer recommend them.

Had an emergency with my cat. I asked a simple question after the appt "can I be billed?" Apparently the receptionist just went back and told the manager I was trying to get out of paying because she came up front talking down to me like a child about how payment is required and "there's signs all over" sorry I wasn't reading your stupid signs while I thought my cat had a possible brain/ spine injury. She didn't even pull me into another room to talk just did this in front of all the staff. I was also told "you should've told us up front and we would've worked with that" AKA you need to let us know you're poor so we can know how much to help or not help your animal. She said she didn't mean it that way but WHAT other way could that be taken? Vets need to come up with a way to bill because not everyone can just drop 500 on the spot but I can't just NOT get my animal help either. And also don't be so RUDE and callous to people who are just worried about their fur babies. Will NOT be back

It's a very unsanitary environment to have sick and healthy fur patients in. Minimal cleaning is done. Untrained kennel technicians are allowed to give IV medication and help in surgeries. Office manager is horrible at her job. You can hear the staff speak of her in a unfavorable way and clients hear it. Pets are left in their kennels except for 3 potty breaks unless they are favorite clients then boarding will play/ interact with them. Reception will withhold appointments needed for sick animals if they don't like the owners. Animals deserve better then what they offer.

I took my service dog here for the first time yesterday and we were both extremely pleased with the levels of care and service. They were very short staffed this week, but we got in because of cancelations. Oliver had skin problems and allergies that needed to be checked before they got worse or infected. It was also time for yearly shots and check-up. When we got there, they already had his previous records. The office staff greeted us promptly and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We saw Dr Lyon, who happened to be the only vet this week, but I was very impressed. She and the tech both obviously care a great deal about the animals they care for. My favorite thing is that they do the check and shots in the room. He had me right there, so no issues caused by separation anxiety. It's fairly common in this area to take the animal to the back for everything, but that makes it very difficult to monitor and guage the care provided. Dr Lyon is very knowledgeable and thorough. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to. Oliver has had skin problems and allergies since I got him and we've tried almost everything with our previous vet. She gave us an older option to try. I don't expect a miracle, but I appreciate her thinking outside the box. I've heard great things about Airport Veterinary Clinic from several of their customers over the last few years. Someone who works there was at the emergency vet the same time we were and she also had great things to say. When our previous vet's office had no appts this week, I decided it was time to try them out even though it's much further away. I'm definitely glad I did. The care is worth the drive to Destin and I'll be taking my other fur babies here too.
