I would rate them a negative if possible they absolutely don't do anything about viscous dogs we pay them to do a job an all they do is drive around why do they even have a position for them if they don't do anything what happens when all these reports come out an then a little girl or boy is called by one of those dogs looks really bad on barren county

We have called them multiple times and they do nothing. So what I would say to that is if there is a problem and you can find a safe, legal solution. Do it yourself.

The worst ever in taking care of animals and neglectful owners!! Its -20 tonight and there are dogs still out there by owners that are tied up all day 24/7. I called them and they wouldnt do a dam thing!!!! I think it is tone to email the governor or even the president! Kentucky is the worst for neglectful and abused animals and no one does anything i asked for a certain dog to be checked in on grinstead mill rd cave city ky and nothing!!! The dog is outside 24/7 7 days a week even in freezing temperatures. I now emailed andy beshar about these situations and the about the barren county animal control!!! Something has to be done and people need to be accountable!!!!

If I could give them a 0 review I would! As others have said, they are worthless in helping ANYONE OR ANY ANIMALS in control. I've begged them for help in penning up my animals, due to a severe spinal surgery where I can't walk well or lift, etc. Instead they tried to give me a citation from one of their BUDDIES choosing to walk with a stick to antagonize the animals and then sit below my house to gossip about me being disabled! There are laws against the abuse of the elderly and disabled! They should be very afraid of being sued and shut down!

We have a plethora of stray animals in our neighborhood. Animal control comes once a week and do nothing. They drive through like maniacs trying to intimidate pet owners whose animals are under control. There is no way the job is being properly done when animal control doesn’t even stay in the neighborhood for more than three minutes going above the speed limit.

We took pur dog in that just had pups and got yelled at because they had worms..we knew this which was why we were bringing them...the lady in the back was yelling at my husband even though the pups were on time for shots.... we origionally went there because we surrendered 13 pups my dog had after being told she couldn't have pups and she was 9 yrs old. The lady at the counter apologized for the other woman's rudeness but that's no excuse...when I lived in the country ppl always dropped dogs off close to our house and this lady is probably the reason why because no one wants to put up with that kind of behavior for trying to do the right thing for our dogs. All we wanted to do was check on the pups we surrendered and get advice on what treatment our momma dog may need for hook worms. I'll drive 50 miles to another place before I go back there.
