We adopted two dogs from here. They were wonderful! They let the two play together to make sure they would get along. They also had me come with my kids to make sure it was a good fit for us. They truly love their animals here!

Very nice and capable staff. Make sure you go here and save a dog's life instead of going to these puppy mills.

Update: Does Centre have animal control? Dustin is the animal control officer for Cherokee county. However, the city of Centre, AL does not have animal control. Cherokee county Animal Control is located in the city of Centre, AL. This was explained to me by the Centre PD, Cherokee County Commissioner's Deputy (Erik), and Mayor Mansfield (who was quite agitated when asked about animal control). WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING AN ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER WHO CANNOT ENFORCE COUNTY REGULATIONS???

Bc I didn't live in that area they couldn't accept the animals I was dropping off. They were some what helpful I'll give them that.
