my boyfriend and i had the best experience with valentines second chance animal rescue. they introduced us to our sweet boy otis who had previously been in a shelter for most of his life and it will soon be one year with him. he has made us so happy and we are truly so appreciate to valentines for the opportunity to foster him at first so we can introduce him to our cats and was blessed with a sponsored adoption. you will be so happy when you leave valentines trust me!

I am a very cautious person when it comes to my fur babies. Valentine’s Second Chance Animal Rescue is the only rescue I've seen that was amazing. It was not only nice visually or pet friendly, but Brie made it very welcoming. Define in a single word -AMAZING!!! As a professional dog trainer I have been looking for a rescue that felt as strongly about the mental and emotional well being of animals as I do. It’s unfortunate, but it’s true that many rescues talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk when it comes to focusing on the mental health of the animals in their care. So many dogs are euthanized for behavior “problems” because the people in charge do not have a deeper understanding of stress, and how to help dogs learn how to cope with stress. The founder of this rescue WANTS to learn. Her standards are ethical, and fear free practices. She strives to not only find homes for dogs, but provide those homes with training assistance, and education to increase the likelihood of dogs staying in their homes, and pet guardians feeling empowered. This is such a key component in animal welfare and making pet guardians not feel judged or backed into a corner because when that happens the one who is likely suffers the most is the dog. I absolutely love and fully support this rescue!!! ♥️💕 Also - I adopted my dog from them and she has brought us SO much joy, and we always tell people she is such a happy dog because she was socialized in a foster household who loved her and treated her like the princess she is!

After my soul dog passed I thought I would never get another dog but she led me here to this amazing woman who just LOVES animals. Amazing place if you are looking to adopt, foster, volunteer or donate this is the place on the front lines rescuing AND Rehoming these babies.

Wonderful rescue they care so much for their Fur babies they help all the ones that's gonna be euthanized. The owner is such a good person and very passionate about what she does I'm honored to foster for this rescue.

This shelter has taken in so many homeless pets on a euthanasia list and given them a chance to live. They are an amazing group doing amazing things. They are a good group! Adopt from them!
