My dog was suffering with joint issues in his hind legs. John the vet is also a Chinese herbalist, who does acupuncture on dogs. My dog Charlie used to limp after walking for the day but since we've been doing acupuncture sessions thar has completely gone away! I couldn't be happier. This is a really special veterinary clinic and I highly recommend this place. I'm a dog person so I've experienced other vets and Sanctuary Animal clinic is by far the best vet I've seen! The 2 photos are taken at Sanctuary this room is where Charlie gets his acupuncture , it's a very calming atmosphere!

I’ve been calling for 3 months to establish care and have left messages with the on call service and left voice messages. Now when I call the phone is always busy. If not taking clients just simply call the person back and let them know. Now sure how existing clients can through on the phone.

Chill vets office, my dog was more relaxed there then other offices. Great, caring doctor.

I've taken both my current and previous furry friends to Holyoke Animal Sanctuary, and they've always received excellent treatment. The staff is knowledgeable and caring, and they've gone above and beyond to ensure my pets are comfortable and well-cared for. I highly recommend Holyoke Animal Sanctuary for anyone in need of top-notch care.

I am so disappointed in all the veterinarian clinics in western Massachusetts for the past two weeks I've been given the run around by like 10 different places including this one, I have a 12 week old kitten with a simple eye infection and NO ONE CARES !!!!!!!!! THIS IS INSANE!!! THE EMERGENCY ROOM IS ALWAYS AN 8-HOUR WAIT .. SOME OF US DON'T HAVE 6 TO 8 HRS TO WAIT AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR AN EMERGENCY VISIT FOR A SIMPLE EYE INFECTION!!!!!! INCREDIBLE! These people really made me feel like they just didn't want to work, I even asked to make an appointment for the future since they are so booked and they refused. What kind of business practice is this?

I took my dog to The Animal Sanctuary yesterday on the recommendation from a friend who thinks the world of Dr. Perdrizet. My dog has a tumor in his mouth and I wanted a second opinion about what kind of surgery he needs. I called on Monday and spoke to a very nice woman at the front desk who patiently listened to me explain my situation and then made me an appointment for Wednesday. When I arrived at the clinic my dog, who is a little shy, remained calm and even seemed a little curious to check out the place. This is because the environment is calm and peaceful and the staff is very kind and reassuring. They allowed my dog to roam around the examination room and offered him homemade dog cookies. The clinic itself is amazing! It is in a beautiful converted mansion and really something to see. Dr. Perdrizet was great with my dog and very clear and straightforward in his diagnosis. He was patient and empathetic and laid out all the options and what they mean, as well as how much each would cost. They took some blood and the lab results should be back within 24 to 48 hours, which in my experience is very fast. The prices are incredibly reasonable and, as I said, everything is laid out beforehand so there are no surprises when the bill comes. My dog is in for a difficult road ahead and I am relieved to have found a vet that I feel confident in to give my dog the best care and help me make the right decisions every step of the way.
