Great place. We were searching for someone to take care of a growth on our dogs chest - when I say I growth I mean a GROWTH. Yikes. But they gave us an estimate and got us in quickly and Penny is now all healed up. We also had to bring our other dog in for an anal gland abscess and they were great with that too. Love the vets and vet techs.

I wish 6 stars was an option for PHPH because I feel like 5 stars doesn’t do this place or the staff justice. I have been there more times than I can count on my hands over the last month due to some fairly significant issues with my pets but I have left this place blown away every single time. The care and compassion their staff shows from the minute you call to the time you leave is second to none. I have received great care from all the vets at the facility. I have been working closest with both Dr. Biele and Dr. Peterson recently to heal my dogs and I couldn’t ask for anything more. They are truly amazing and I’m so lucky to have them care for my pets. My animals aren’t able to say thank you but I know they would if they could!

Excellent place all around. The staff has been amazing. I recently had my family dog pass away, and the help and compassion I received cannot be put into words. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area trying to establish care for their pet.

I've been taking my dog to Plymouth Heights Pet Hospital for the past three years since moving to Plymouth, based on a recommendation from my previous vet at Edina Pet Hospital. Unfortunately, my experience with Plymouth Heights has been disappointing. This year, our vet suggested my dog needed two teeth extractions, despite her X-rays showing her teeth were in good condition. This recommendation was not mentioned during the annual visit, which was cut short because the vet had to leave early due to another dog's medical emergency. The vet called a few days later to suggest the extractions, but my husband was actually the one who first noticed a hairline fracture on her teeth, not the vet. My dog has had annual dental cleanings since she was a puppy, each costing $1000, which is significantly higher than other animal hospitals. This cost did not include extractions, as she never needed them. Additionally, the vet at Plymouth Heights recommended dental cleanings twice a year, but my new vet advised that once a year is sufficient. While both Edina Pet Hospital and Plymouth Heights Pet Hospital are expensive, Edina’s costs are justified by their location. Despite the high costs, I liked Edina Pet Hospital because they never charged for unnecessary procedures. In contrast, I believe Plymouth Heights is more focused on making money than on the well-being of pets. They also ignored our request for a prescription for my dog's anxiety. I'm afraid the suggested tooth extraction would have caused more harm than good if I hadn't sought a second opinion from another vet. Overall, I cannot recommend Plymouth Heights Pet Hospital based on my experiences.

I have brought multiple of my dogs here for various levels of care. Routine annual, urgent care, acupuncture, and lab work. The staff here really cares. I have always felt extremely confident when making informed decisions regarding my fur family members.

I can't even begin to express how great these guys have been. Unfortunately, my dog's health declined greatly right after I established care with this clinic and I ended up having to make a very hard decision regarding her quality of life. They were so there for us, between talking to me the day before to help me make big decisions, to talking to me the few days after to help me navigate the incredible grief I was going through, to sending a beautiful card. They really go the extra mile, and if I end up getting another dog, I would absolutely trust Plymouth Heights with their care ❤️
