Amazing relationship based luxury dog boarding facility. To call it a boarding facility does not do it justice. They have very few but large (6×6 maybe) crates used at the dog or owner preference. Otherwise, when the dogs, broken down into similar temperament packs, aren't outside in one of the multiple acre fenced segments or obstacle course playing, they are inside. Inside, they remain in large rooms with their pack lounging on chairs and couches. To top it off, they make fresh food daily with fresh meat, vegetables, and fruit. Thank you, Kristen, for working hard to integrate our puppy into the pack.

Great place for your dogs for a day, few days or weeks. No kennels but rooms with furniture to chill in. 11 fenced acres with woods. Someone is always with the dogs.

Great people! They are something else! I tell you my dogs love going every morning. Some days I guess they just didn’t get enough time with their friends cause they want to go back in the evening. I hope your dog enjoy this wonderful place as much as mine do. P.s. even our goat likes it at Desperate Dogs

I will only ever take my dog to Desperate Dogs! Incredible team of trainers and behaviorists and just all around the most caring and compassionate people. I trust only the staff at DD with my 140 lb fear aggressive baby! In fact, I drive an hour to take my dog there. They get tons of fun (and very safe) playtime plus delicious home cooked meals and are always providing extremely valuable tips so you have the most happy and healthy dog. They have completely changed our lives. And did you know they also have a sanctuary for senior dogs so these wonderful creatures who gave so much throughout their life can live out the remainder of their years with the love and care they deserve! What else can I say about Desperate Dogs - They are the best of the best!

Our 2 fur babies LOVE going to Desperate Dogs. The entire staff (Kris, Penny, & team) treat our doggies as their own!! We go away on vacation knowing Smokey and Dixie get their own vacation playing off leash—on TONS of land—with lots of other pup friends. Not to mention they enjoy 5-star fresh, homemade meals...many times better than what we are eating. I can't rave enough over Desperate Dogs! This place is wonderful. A resort for dogs. Penny and her staff care about each and every dog they encounter and carefully evaluate each dog that may stay at the ranch. I am grateful for their careful evaluation. I want my dog to be safe, secure and to enjoy his stay with Penny. The dogs are well cared for and get to be dogs during their stay. They are not on leashes, not locked in crates, are encouraged to run and play and are well fed. And, I mean really well fed. Good wholesome, healthy food. Customer service is fantastic. If you want your dog to be safe, well fed, be free to move about and have room to run and play, this is the place for your dog. 😊
