Last year one of the community cats we were feeding got hit by a car, ending up with a really bad broken leg. Dr Judd did a wonderful job of surgically repairing the cat’s broken leg. The price was very reasonable. Dr Judd is very compassionate and attentive. We are very grateful. The cat has now formally joined our other three cats as indoors only. Please keep your cats indoors because they could be injured or killed by cars.

My wife’s fur baby Jade just got her periodontal procedure with 18 teeth extractions last June 21, 2024 and I was still in awe of experience with her awesome Vet Dr Judd. Throughout the entire time Jade has been coming to this vet clinic since July 2014 for various ailments from her heart murmurs c/o Dr. Kim to gastrointestinal c/o Dr. Schlegel, and recently periodontal problems c/o Dr. Judd, all the Vets at Abbey Veterinary Clinic El Cerrito treated us not just as fur patient’s parents but as partners toward improving Jade’s over all health wellness and quality of life. Just recently, Dr Judd has used his expertise in restoring Jade’s confidence by totally improving the unsightly exposed roots of the teeth, eliminating bath breath, drooling problem, and Jade’s head shyness- unwilling to open her mouth in public. Most of all, Dr Judd and his entire vet team are caring, compassionate, and welcoming which makes every visit a less-pain and stress-free experience for Jade. Thank you all for your hard work!

Revising review because of recent experience. My dog suffered trauma and I brought her in with no notice shortly after opening. They assessed her immediately and communicated a triage plan. After leaving her, they continued to communicate throughout the day and discharged her with that evening with clear next steps, medication, and restrictions By far the best care my pups have received and truly appreciated by our whole family.
