ZERO STARS……The bedside manner was absolutely terrible. Not welcoming to my fur baby or myself at all. Not one member of the staff had a smile on their faces and I had to ask for after care instructions from her surgery. I do have to say the surgery went well, but I will never bring my baby to someone that does not like her. She will be getting her staples removed from a vet that actually cares for her and makes us feel welcomed. I see other reviews where people are loving this place, so maybe it was just me or my dog. I have a Rottweiler and understand they can be intimidating , but if you’re afraid of a dog then maybe you shouldn’t be working in the vets office. Not everyone has or wants little dogs and I do believe that she would have been treated better if she was a small little fluffy dog. Anyone that wants good care and compassion for you and your large pet, don’t go to Fontenots Animal Hospital.

If you care about your dog and how they’re treated then i wouldn’t bring them to this place. Doctors did an amazing job during surgery on my mothers rottweiler but the way she and her pup were treated afterwards was completely unacceptable. She will never go back to them and we will not be treated with disrespect from a “veterinary professional ” again.

Emergency visit for my dog that was attacked by several other dogs. This was my 1st time coming here and I was so happy I did. My pet was shown concern, compassion, and immediate attention for her wounds, by the staff. They gained my respect and have now gained a new customer.

Again, I cannot say enough about the staff here. From the doctors to the receptionist. Everyone goes above and beyond. If I could give them 50 stars 🌟 I would!!! 👏

This was my first visit here. I brought my puppy for his shots. Staff was friendly, didn’t have to wait long to be seen. My only concern was they spent little time with him not sure if I even saw a vet or one of the other workers there as they didn’t identified themselves. Wasn’t given any instructions on care, food recommendations on any overall puppy guidelines other than to come back for next set of shots. Exam lasted about 5 minutes.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! This place was highly recommended with a good star rating. I brought my Son dog here and the service was by far the worse experience! I Express major concerns on his BESTFRIEND who was heartworm positive but not one time did they listen to his heart or check his lung's. They didn't weight like they did every dog before us. I told them he was sick and been dropping weight and it wasn't until I asked for him to be weight that they weighed him. They discussed treatment for heartworms and brushed us off. There was zero concern and proper care from the Vet! We set him up with his first treatment and his health declined needless to say Sunday morning my Son woke up to his Bestfriend passing away! I would never recommend taking your precious babies here! Again they did NO physical exam giving my Son high hopes his dog would be fine and get better! Not to mention I called to ask about bringing him to get cremated and they told me to put him in a cooler on ice til they were open on Monday because they are closed on Sunday!
