Strongly do NOT recommend the self dog wash. Lousy experience: the wash station is in the same room as boarded dogs who barked the entire time I was washing my dog. She doesn't like bath time to begin with and the constant yapping made her even more nervous and gave me a headache. I also felt bad for these 'boarded dogs' in this small spaces having random people and dogs come and go all day. Poor quality setup: the soap selector/distributor must not have worked very well or isn't putting out enough because when I got home my dog still smelled like lake water and I ended up having to give her yet another bath. Overpriced: to top it all off the self dog wash station cost $26.50. That's highway robbery. The most I've paid elsewhere (and we travel the entire country) is $14. Had I known how much it cost beforehand I wouldn't have even submitted myself to this terrible experience. For the second wash we went to the Magic Mile Laundry, Car Wash & Pet Wash — for $10 my dog was finally clean and we weren't being yapped at by other dogs the entire time. Staff was friendly.
