Wonderful animal rescue sanctuary in North Fort Myers, FL. Very compassionate staff made adopting my new kitty so enjoyable. Michele was so professional and nice. Austin who gave me the tour answered all of my questions. They really care about their animals. Highly recommend if you plan on adopting a kitty 😻

ARC Staff are fabulous!!! All my life I have always had big dogs to love & then my youngest daughter said she really wanted a kitten.... Welcome to ARC! Their kittens are extremely well kept & cared for & they staff knows each by name, look & personality!! My friends all told me that if I were going to adopt a kitten, that I should really adopt 2 of them to keep each other company....so I did! Included is a photo of both of our kittens, Bentley is the black & white with the black bow tie on his nose & Saber is the tiger stripped kitten. Their staff member gave my daughter time to sit down and play with them to see which two would be the best match for her and she enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks again Arc for everything that you all do! You are wonderful people and I would adopt from you again!!

I never knew how much I could truly love an animal. We adopted Teddy back in Dec 2019 from ARC, and the last 3 years have been the absolute best. The first photo was from when we adopted him and the second photo is him from my our wedding this year. We couldn’t imagine our lives without him

I have had Dolly now for 2 years. It took a year for Dolly to get her stomach issues settled. She's worth it. Thank you for your wonderful shelter ❤. Dolly loves her home and has even been to Minnesota!!

I love this place! I adopted 2 dogs from them a week apart. I don't know what these negative reviews are for, we were treated great and respectfully. The adoption process was easy as well. If you get turned down, there must be a good reason. They care deeply for their animals and invest a lit of money with medical bills, training, etc... I had a great experience with ARC and they travel to save animals, both my dogs were from the Louisiana floods. They drove out there and brought back 15 dogs and cats. The dogs and cats there couldn't ask for better housing and you won't find that at other shelters. Not to mention, you get your adopted pets fully vaccinated, spayed/nuetered, medical checked. They also give you a months supply of heart guard and flea and tick meds. As well as a little dog/cat food to get you started, oh and also a collar, leash and some toys. What other rescue does all this and with a low adoption fee? I donate when ever possible. Here is a pictures of my little guys.
