Dog brought in some baby bunnies (4), did what a few rescue sites mentioned which is put them back where the nest is and hope mom comes back. Unfortunately, after @24 hours mom didn't come back. Called and was asked to check if the babies had a big tummy from being fed bc mom bunny will sneak in, feed the babies, and go out and about again. No luck. One looked pretty thin and the other two not quite as thin but not full-bellied. A fourth... I'm not sure if they made it. 😔 Was requested to keep them warm via rice in an old sock warmed up and a towel (I used that and the original nest since mom didn't come back). Anyway, brought them by, put them in a cardboard box then in another box that could be locked. I think it was a blink camera system they used & told me via that camera they'd be by momentarily to check on the babies. I didn't hangout, I felt bad enough that my goober dog brought them inside & (I guess) thought they were mini-puppies. I wish I would've known they weren't state or federally funded I would've brought more $ to donate. I wish the best of luck for the rabbits (Eastern cottontails I believe) and hope they make a speedy recovery. Thank you for helping the wild life. Is there a website where I can donate, see the ongoing animal rehab, or just be more informed about this?

I found a new fawn in a drainage ditch across the road from my house one morning. I kept an eye out for momma all day n checked before a severe storm n she was still there n would have drowned as the afternoon storms have been pouring n flooding. I waited til just before it poured then brought it n.I googled and called Wynn the next day, and told her about the fawn. She wasn't friendly n said put it back out for the mother that she'd be back in up to 10 hrs n I explained it was longer than 10 hrs and we have bear, coyote etc here. She said that's wildlife, happens every day. ?!?! She told me they don't take any deer. She said put her back for the momma or natural predators. I don't know if she's that cold hearted, or being 1 1/2 hours away didn't want to come get her, but I'm shocked. Help a squirrel but not a week old fawn????

I have unfortunately had to call multiple times, once about a deer that had been hit, a baby bird I found, and a baby skunk. I have their number saved in my phone as I live in a wooded area with lots of critters and I can’t stand the thought of one suffering. I’ve never been talked to in a rude manner, I think she handles every situation as calm and kind as possible. I haven’t brought an animal to the facility yet but trust that they would do what they could for the animals brought to them. I’ve called late at night and on holidays. Anyone who is willing to help animals I can’t gets five stars from me. If I could help these animals without risking more harm, I would, but I can’t. Thanks for all you do!

Thank you! It’s Sunday evening and I was sure no one would answer when a hummingbird got stuck on our open front porch. Flying back and forth frantically. The woman I spoke with was kind, understanding, and gave great advice. Hummingbird was able to make it out after we hung a feeder in a better spot that she recommended. Much thanks!

I have called the Wynns twice and they are amazing! They always answer the phone as well as any questions we have. The first experience I have is when i found a baby bird on my porch late at night. I called and the woman answered and explained to me that the bird was a fledgling and its parents would feed it on the ground. The second experience I have is when I found a fledgling that had a really bad wound on its belly that almost looked like its organs were falling out. We sent pictures and she had us rush the bird up there. After putting it in the bin, we called about 4 or 5 minutes later and another person answered and said she was already working on the bird.

I dropped of a fledgling blackbird this week who could almost fly. He fluttered around just fine. When I left him there he was OK, alert healthy, just couldn't fly. I found out he didn't make it. Really? Don't know if I'm believing that. I'm thinking, they don't have the means to take care of him and I don't even wanna know the rest. I shoulda just kept him and tried to take care of him my selfas difficult as it was. Never bringing another creature there
