I have been taking my pets here for wow maybe 20 years! I love each of the doctors for their compassion and understanding. The vets tech are the most loving and caring people ❤️
River and Hester enthusiastically give 8 paws up to Dr Love and Dr Fulton and their team. Every visit is thoughtful, conscientious, and respectful each dog's needs. The folks who work here clearly love animals and they do their very best. We count ourselves lucky to have access to such a great team.
Back in the early 90s, in January and during a snowstorm, Dr. Love met us at the vet office where she was working at the time to help us say goodbye to our sweet Persian, Krimpet. He needed to be put down because he had cancer and just that weekend his lungs filled with fluid… we had a suspicion that it would happen, we just didn’t expect it to be so very quickly. Dr. Love even had her child in the rear car seat with the engine running with car warm… Did I mention it was January and in a snowstorm? She did not rush us and we did not know about her son until we left (never wake a sleeping baby). Dr. Flack took care of my cats at the old practice since then, again since the mid-90s. Dr. Flack left her old practice and I was delighted to find that she moved to work with Dr. Love. The veterinarians and the techs are amazing here. I’m going to be moving to Delaware over an hour away, but I really feel I’ll be taking trips to New Jersey to have them look at my cat lol. I don’t think you could go wrong at Bethel Mill.
The quality of service from Bethel Mill was superb, from the front desk through treatment and issue resolve. All my questions were answered and all of my concerns were addressed. I returned to Bethel Mill after moving nearly 100 miles away. I will drive the 2 hours up and back because the treatment and service are unmatched.
I wish I could leave zero stars for this place. We've been taking our cats here for 15 years. Today, we took one of our cats in with respiratory concerns. Upon showing the technician videos, they stated "it's a cough." They then informed us that our cat needed a rabies vaccine in order to be treated. She is an indoor cat. At 15 years old, we'd like not to traumatize our cat with needles, especially since our main concern is respiratory related. They took our cat away, back into the exam room. We gave no consent to draw blood or perform any sort of invasive or semi-invasive procedure. The doctor returned with our cat and immediately tried to push the rabies vaccine again. We stood firm by our choice, and told her that we will not be giving it to our 15 year old indoor cat. Immediately the doctor said "Did you want to leave?" Absolutely we do! She also informed us that blood WAS drawn, and hasn't been "sent to the lab yet." We gave NO consent to draw our cats blood. They drew her blood, and wrapped it in a bandage and returned her to us. What happened to being unable to treat our cat without a vaccine? THEY DREW HER BLOOD. Needless to say, we will not be returning here after a loyal 15 years. We're extremely disappointed to know how poorly our cat was treated today.
Each time I bring in my pup, I feel as though staff genuinely care for him and me, and we're not just a number on that day's schedule. Everyone at Bethel Mill is kind and compassionate and very helpful. They're cooperative with scheduling and I believe their fees are reasonable. We are consistently satisfied and delighted with our visits to Bethel Mil. :)
