My experience with Claws and Paws was 100% positive. I adopted a year old dog that had been surrendered by her owner who had given up on her. Claws and Paws catered to her anxiety and took extra special care of her until I found her. They run a tight ship there. Paying attention to every detail of caring for animals that need nurturing, forever homes. Puppies, elderly, special needs etc. My new dog and I are a month into our transitional period. Learning each other's needs. We are very lucky to have an amazing, selfless place like Claws and Paws in our community. If you can’t adopt, consider donating food or $ to help.
Rico owner here. Love this animal. God gave me Rico in the hardest time of my life. (I have had Rice for five years now. He has been vital to my everyday existences. He is still my gift from God himself. )
We just love our little girl Katie, very nice shelter, wanted to take them all home, This is a great shelter regardless of those false clames of prices and pushyness, they let you spend time, " It's your decision, your responsibility of what you take home", and to watch your kids around them to see if the animal has a low tolerance to hair, ear and tail pulling or hitting by young ones, this is a great shelter in my book
Wonderful shelter. Please donate. They have accepted a kitten that was abandoned on my property that I couldn't keep (have pets). Please help them continue their good work and donate!!!! Update: I feed strays, one little female pregnant came in February. I let her inside, she had 2 kittens in late march. Claws and Paws took the two babies today. Very grateful they exist. There are so many homeless cats in my neighborhood. Please spay/neuter your pets and don't dump them. Keep them until you can find a shelter that can take them. Help by donating to any shelter!
What we saw of the shelter was clean. Practicing Covid-19 regulations. The staff was very helpful, informative and friendly. The owner/ manager showed concern for where the animals in her care are placed. We adopted Bella, they called her Darcy. She is sweet and adapting very well. Bella loves to run and check out her new back yard!
We adopted the sweetest little black lab. Her name is RUBY. The staff was helpful, kind to both animals and humans. They care where the animals go. It was a great experience. Ruby is an awesome addition to our family.
