All Pets are up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and ready to go home today. Gift certificates to go towards a pet adoption are also available. Note: The Best Friends Pet Adoption Center does not accept pets from the public. If you have a pet you need to relinquish, please visit your local LA Animal Services shelter.

Hands down the best place in LA to adopt a cat/kitten from. Our kitten had a major medical emergency soon after we got her and they took her back with no questions. They're tending to her and have assured us we can re-adopt her when she's well.

I adopted my kitten Feathers from Best Friends, and it was such a good experience! I had to froster him for a couple of days before officially adopting him, because he was not neutered. I didn’t wait long for the final adoption. Feathers turns out to be a smart and adaptive kitten. I bought him a lot of toys, he loves them! He also learns to use the new water fountain and litter box very quickly! He didn’t have any serious health issues when I took him in. He had tapeworm but it was treated quickly by the adoption center. They really took good care of the cats here! I never adopted kittens before, but Best Friends makes everything super easy for me! I cannot stress enough how great this place is ❤️ P.S. Adopt black kittens please! They are so smart and affectionate 🤗

I attended their Kitten Movie Night event, watched Encanto while playing with kittens. I loved the facility and learned about fostering and adopting kittens and really appreciate that they do so much to get these lovely animals adopted to caring homes.

I got my two babies from here. These people were able to rescue them at 3 days old which is a feat in and of itself. All the people that worked there were super informative and even sent me home with a bag of non-clumping litter and toys. My babies will be 1 year old next month and they are the light of my life. Thank you, best friends. For my best friends!
