We thought this place would be good to leave our pup at, but we were wrong. She's been sick ever since we picked her up, and her behavior is not as energetic as usual. She's been vomiting, scratched up on the nose, and hives on her belly. The place stinks because it's a free for all for all pups and cats. Could take a little more time to clean up the area for the animals. This is supposed to be a rescue /grooming/boarding place for pets. At least take the time to clean the place for the rescues and pets staying for a quick visit. Also if your pet has diet restrictions or can only have a specific dog food, maybe double think. They did not want to take the dog food we provided for our pup since they leave their choice of dog food and water left out all day and night.

These people really are amazing...an animal rescue and top notch dog grooming at a fraction the price of other places. Professional, knowledgeable staff doesn't cut corners on quality service. I will continue to recommend Man's Best Friend to the pet owners I know.

I needed my cat spayed like now and the proprietor helped me get my cat spayed so I wouldn't have to spend 100 bucks and could just donate what I could afford instead. It's quick in and out, just drop em off in the morning and pick em up in the evening. But don't expect to socialize, be quick cause she's a busy woman!!! And never carry your cat by hand to their carriers, the highway right there is dangerous and if you can't control your animal and it gets away from you somehow it could end up hurt or worse. Be a responsible pet owner! Funny story though, my other female while waiting in my car for me in my carrier escaped and when I got back into my car she jumps up through the window and I almost thought she was a stray cat from the place. ( There's lots of cats running loose everywhere there, they know the road and traffic though). My kitty looked at me like, so...where to now?

Dee is amazing. She helped me with 2 of my dogs and took a rescue dog from me when I lived in Southern California. I wish there were more people around like her.

Dee has been taking care of the animals for decades! They do it all! Kennel short n long term. Adoptions. Grooming n vet runs to Mexico even! We've been taking our pets to her forever...
