My dog had gotten loose. We checked our entire yard and the gates, she was let loose and did not get loose due to our negligence. No holes, no gaps, someone let her loose. We don't get along with a neighbor nearby and this is the kind of sick thing he would do. When we called and asked animal control if they had our dog, and from our location, they said yes. This was after several horrible hours in 108 degree heat searching the entire town for her. Animal control asked us if she had her rabies shot, tag, etc and we said yes. Of course she did, it was on her collar. When we went to pick her up, we saw that she did indeed have her collar and rabies tag on. Why didn't they call us to tell us they had her? I almost had a heatstroke searching for her! They gave her a bunch of vaccinations she did not need and had recently received. They would have known that, if they had called us! Then, they try to tell us our senile, half blind, 14 year old dog that can barely walk had been running around for weeks! My dog may have been poisoned by them giving her vaccinations she had recently received, we were bullied, harassed, intimidated and treated horribly! Thugs, bullying thugs that tried to impose more fees than they were legally able to. I am disgusted by the way we and our sweet girl were treated. If my dog dies because of how she was mistreated you can bet we will be suing

these people never answer the phone which makes no sense cause they cannot be that busy. They barely do anything for the community to protect animals so I don’t see the point.
