Just moved to the area and as it was starting to get cold 🥶 2 field mice decided to make my home their home too. (we caught them in a trap that night). the next day on Sunday afternoon went to look for a new addition to our home. We are so happy to find Gumbo( 3 months old), she completely our family pets ❤️ she also will have a job and that's is to keep the field mice out.

The new shelter is a huge step up from the old one. They are extremely short staffed and do their best with the help of volunteers to run the place. It is a full time gig just keeping the place clean. Please be patient on your visit and know that they are doing all they can. Advocate for more funding so they can hire more employees! I volunteer here to take dogs out on “doggies day out” to get them outside the shelter. I can tell every time I come in that the staff is very busy. They don’t have time for a lot of small talk because they are doing a difficult job. Just know that they definitely care! The animals come first and this is a wonderful place to adopt a pet.

The last couple of years I have gotten these two adorable and loveable puppies. I would definitely recommend. The staff really care about the animals and are very helpful. Rescue is the way to go!

This is Axel he is a Loving Happy dog we got Axel From the Shelter he was Returned 3 times prior to us ADOPTING him We didn't adopt him he adopted us he is now in a forever home we have had him for almost a year. And we don't know what we would do without him. We love love him so much. He loves other animals and loves to play fetch and wrestling with my grandson... HE'S a BIG BABY...
