Recommended by others on Facebook. First visit they covered everything, wellness check up, nails, ear issue, shots. The vet, Dr. Mason was charming, and thorough. They treated my dog with care and gentleness considering she's a biter. Even got a call back from Dr. Mason to check up on Macy. Nice. It was rather more than I expected to pay, but you get what you pay for! Great place! I'll be recommending them also.

Oakwood is simply THE BEST!!! We have had 7 furbabies now and all have been seen and treated by the tremendous doctors and staff at Oakwood. Dr. Drew and Dr. Jeff are who we have worked with over the years. They are both so incredibly caring, compassionate, and honestly vested in the care of our furkids. We literally trust them with their lives and we can't say enough about how much we appreciate these wonderful folks. The entire staff is friendly, kind, caring, helpful!!!! Shout out to our long time friend and employee at Oakwood, Kelly, who has known our babies and has become one of our friends over the years!!!! Oakwood is family!!!!! I would 150% recommend anyone to take their furbabies here!!!!

My pup, Frankie, was hit by a vehicle and fractured her Femur. I was apprehensive due to the cost of surgery but a soon as the doctor came into the room, he made me feel so comfortable. He was patient. He explained everything to me and showed me pictures of bones, the process of surgery, and what to expect. He answered all of my questions and talked to me in a very relaxed and knowledgeable manner. By the time I left, I was sure I made the right choice. I walked out feeling 20 lbs lighter. I wish he was our vet for all things!! Best vet doc I have ever seen!! He will be my first choice, anytime we have an emergency! Go see these doctors, you will not regret it! He even called me after the surgery to let me know how it went. He was very empathetic and talked about her physical wellbeing as well as her emotional health. Thank you Dr Drew Henshaw!

Best Vet in town. Have yet to have a bad experience with anyone in the clinic. All friendly, smiling and helpful when calling on the phone. The vets (we love Dr. Dana) are compassionate, understanding and great at spending time with you. The money you spend is worth it in my book.

We loved our vet downstate and were nervous about finding the same quality of care in this area, but once we found Oakwood, we were immediately put at ease and incredibly impressed. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. The front office staff, vet techs, and doctors are all incredibly kind. Our dogs have had the pleasure of seeing both Drs. Henshaw and Mason and every time has been a wonderful experience. They are informative yet very compassionate. We never feel rushed, and they answer every question that we have. Our newly adopted dog had to have exploratory surgery right after we adopted him, and all three doctors made time in their day to step in during the process to ensure that everything went as planned and that they knew what the appropriate treatment was for our sweet boy. We feel so lucky to have found Oakwood and are thankful that our dogs have such quality and compassionate care.
