This was the second time I’ve been to this facility. I had a dog that I had to put to sleep this past Monday. It was scheduled at a partnering location late in the day, but due to her rapid decline. I had to do something quicker and was able to come in here first thing in the morning. This was the first time that I experienced this, and I could not be happier with the way the staff treated myself, my dog, and the Situation overall. They gave me ample time to deal with the process & im very happy with throb
Dr. Rossin is exceptional and everyone in the office is always caring, kind and professional. So glad we found them!
Our dog Bella is a 9 year old lab/shepherd mix. At the end of January 2023, she started behaving in a manner that suggested she was not feeling well and was in a lot of pain (walking slower, limping, panting more, breathing faster, tired, and whining), totally different from her usual rambunctious self! We tried to get her into our regular vet, but were unable to get her in immediately so we called Pet Wellness Center and they got her in that same day. She saw Dr. Kozak, (awesome veterinarian) who examined her, ran lab tests, and did xrays, so we could find out what was wrong with our precious girl (we got all labs and tests results back within an hour). Lab work only showed a very high elevation in one of her liver enzymes (she takes phenobarbital for seizures and it can cause this type of elevation). The xrays showed severe osteoarthritis in her back and her right leg/knee area. She was placed on medications to help this and Dr. Kozak recommended laser therapy treatments twice a week for three weeks, stating they have had a lot of success with them. She had her first treatment that same day and what a difference it made, when we got home she went outside with her sister and 2 brothers and was running around a little bit more, we were amazed! Since then we have continued the laser therapy treatments once per week, (after the initial six treatments), do red light therapy on her at home a few times a week, and her medications. Since first taking her to Pet Wellness Center in January until now (the end of March) the results have been night and day, she runs around outside with her brothers and sister, has more energy, and overall she’s happier!!! She acts like her younger self again! We are so grateful for Pet Wellness Center getting her in quickly and taking care of her and giving our Bella a new lease on life!!! The veterinarian and staff are all kind people, gentle with the our babies, and you can tell they all have a true love for the animals they take care of!!! We love you Pet Wellness Center and will continue to recommend you to anyone we know with fur babies!!!
The front staff the moment you walk in are always friendly and smiling, the vet techs are incredibly knowledgeable. They take the time to listen to any concerns answer any questions you may have and take a moment to greet your fur baby which for me is the best part! All of the doctors are fantastic!!
they are great people and do great work. They did emergency surgery on my dog, and she came out with flying colors. Love this place the people are very friendly., They took all the cysts on the right side since they we all attached they did great.
Do not trust these people with your pet if you truly care about them.. I took my cat in and he was walking around in the room.. they took him to the back and sedated him then rolled him out motionless on an IV saying he isn’t going to make it and it’s best to put him down. They tried to tell me he declined that bad from walking to motionless in 10 minutes and swore they did not sedate him. I waited awhile and he randomly sprung up super quickly then I was forced to pay and had to take him home.. robbed me of my money and my cat. Terrible experience. No telling how many pets they have robbed from people. Heartless terrible humans.
