This rescue is run by a powerhouse woman! Her heart for animals is bigger than her ranch can hold. If you're looking to adopt a rescue, Maria is the one to see. Compassion, love and socializing for each horse helps them to recover to be the beautiful animals they are! This rescue looks for volunteers during the week to groom the horses. They also have sponsorship, riding classes and riding therapy and boarding! As a volunteer, I can tell you that I love the energy here. Please visit their website for more info and consider donating. My wife & I have been here for about 4 months now & the experience has been AMAZING. As an army vet, this place has been very therapeutic, from the horses, to Maria, to the volunteers who come by, we love it all! It's awesome to learn about the horses & their behavior! As far as the few negative reviews I've seen from previous workers/volunteers, it's pretty obvious that you couldn't handle the workload required here & were told to leave & that left a bitter taste in your mouth. People come here thinkin' they can just skate by, working a few hours a day in exchange for a place to live...Negative, caring for these horses is a full-time job. - Jamie & Jon.

Wow- This tiny woman gives back to her community despite the new ordinances fighting horse properties! A grandfathered property that rescues horses and helps teens and serves as a babysitter for kids in the community. Rather than getting into no good, she puts them to work with rescue horses. They flourish and the kids flourish!🐴💙🐴🌻🐴 She teaches horse care, handling, grooming, saddling and riding! Lend a hand and get something in return! Just starting a young person's riding group for shows and parades!!!💞

This rescue is nothing like I have ever seen before in my life! What they do for the abused horses there is really something, I love it there and go back as often as I can.
