Description The Renewal Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christ-centered ministry that assists those in need to find hope and healing through the Gospel. More than 1,300 people volunteer for us each year and help make a difference in the lives of thousands. We engage cooperative partnerships for a common purpose among those in the business, civic, and community-minded organizations providing assistance and services to people in need. Our goal is to provide relief and hope to those who are struggling and help them get back on their feet. If you are interested in volunteering or donating, please visit our website or contact us today. Thank you for your support!

They need a more modern facility, but this isn't their fault. They need more funding! This is a wonderful program that deserves full support.
I've read a lot of these reviews, you get pros and cons in life period... One thing I can say about this place, just like on the streets, if you help yourself they will help you. This staff actually cares here and Chris one of the coolest people and run the floor the way it's supposed to be, strict but fun,he actually cares about people soon as they come thru that door. I use to work in a facility similar to this, put yourself in their shoes. They're not obligated to do a damn thing for you,but they do. Thank you all for helping a struggling veteran, very much!!!
Very helpful staff and a very resourceful place
They helped me get back on me feet after I fell off the wagon and I am for ever grateful 🥲 to Ms.Sharron and the staff at the Renewal center thanks 🙏 from the deepest parts of my soul and heart 💓 thank y'all so so much 💕
This place deserves no stars. You have a bunch of characters to deal with and some staff are rude. When you get there they act like your supposed to know the rules. They won't tell about the things you can do to benefit you. They don't care about your drug or alcohol use until you snap on somebody for being disrespectful. Well i was kicked out and told not to come back because I speak my mind and the retards said I was a bully. No stupid I don't like to be around idiots. They let a guy that is mentally challenged get his food stamps and social security stolen. If you want drugs they are right inside. They don't search you for weapons. I'm a military vet they put me out in 90+ weather had to beg for water I'm not from the area is bad situation. I didn't start drinking till a staff member said I could as long as I didn't get violent. Gay folks all over the place. One MS. Hill will sexually harrass others but since his kind works there he gets away with. I watch them donate clothes that were donated to them. Room full of expired can goods they never pass out. Roof full of donated drinks they refuse to pass out that became expired. I need clothes and a jacket when i got there but they said they didn't have any but when we cleaned out the place it was BRAND NEW stuff everywhere. Only 1 bathroom so if you need to go you have to hit the bushes guys and girls. I can keep going but i need the rest for the news. They know who the hell I am and boy they started this mess. If my grammar is screwed up oh well you understand.
The meals are always good, but the men staff seem to think all the homeless people who come there do so because they are on drugs. The men staff treat the homeless people very harsh, and even run some of them off for just wanting to sit in the shade and rest for a minute. They are homeless, where else can they go if not to a homeless shelter?
