We have adopted several house cats and barn cats from MCAS. The staff there has always been so helpful. Izabel was lovely on the phone and made us feel welcome to come in. She allowed us to play with the cats and pick the perfect addition to our family. Stephanie was also very knowledgeable about keeping barn cats safe and secure. We will be back.

What a terrible experience. These girls don't know how to talk to people. One acted as if we were inconveniencing her. One yelled at me during a lecture on the phone when I wanted to know what happened to my little boy for some closure. Parting with a sick animal at end of life is traumatic for pet owners, Please be kind and empathetic to those in pain.

The staff is just wonderful. Choosing a rescue dog is hard because they all want to go home with you. I chose a beautiful Pit Bull mix named Blade. He is so adorable and a fast learner. I will return for the next pup.

We live in Jackson County, so have to drive the extra 30 minutes to this rescue service, and 4 years ago had an amazing experience here. It was small, not fancy, and the staff were kind and helpful. Yesterday, after unfortunately losing one of our dogs, a few weeks ago, this was one of our first stops to find a new best friend. We called to find the hours, and were told they were open at 1:00PM. We arrived at 1:30, to find a woman from the front desk waving us down. They were short-staffed that day, she said, so opening at 2:00. No problem, we said, and we waited in the car. At 2:00, the actual person in charge saw us, took pity on us, and told us the place was actually closed for the day, no exceptions. He did not acknowledge the existence of the woman we spoke to. He was VERY busy, but when he saw I was upset, he offered to let us in for a few minutes. We declined, and thanked him, but won’t be back again. I thank this man for his kindness. I don’t know the name of either person, but the lady should have notified us. The place presented as inept, unprepared, and completely lacking in communication. This is a rural area, and I appreciate people’s service for animals in such an underserved district. But I did not find this acceptable.

Compasion for the lost and stray animals is obvious there. The employees were wonderful to the cats and am grateful to them for everything ❤️.

They are ok I guess. .just don't have much info about thier dogs...place seems clean and cages are clean....we adopted a dog four days ago ...she has a cough ...and has had diarrhea...but she is ok now....very afraid of everything for first two days....but she is playful now and loves treats ..was not housebroken at all....getting better though....I love her she is so sweet...
