Do not bring your dog here if you are planning on getting rid of your pet they will end up euthanizing your pet to make space for others. It’s disgusting and they need to be closed down, but they need to do euthanize themselves.

Do not go here for healthcare for your pets, the staff was incredibly rude and had our cats sitting in the bathroom for hours, and they also stated that they could set our cats up for adoption against our will, additionally, they clipped one of ours cats ears without consulting us. Absolutely vile staff

If you are looking for a dog cat even a bunny or ferret, talk to them. We got a rescue kitty from there 2 years ago and he has found a place one our family with 3 dogs. The place takes great effort to care for them.

They took a turtle that was hit in Edinburgh but refused to take a baby bird who was still fuzzy because it's feathers weren't even formed yet it was so young because I live in Taylorsville despite the fact that I was in Bartholomew County still. Pretty messed up that they will turn an animal away because they were injured not even a mile outside of Columbus. Would have thought that preserving the life of an innocent animal and getting it the help that it needed (I had found the bird at 11pm last night so time was already tight since everything was closed before this point). Luckily I was able to get the bird someplace farther away without anything happening to it. Would have been such a sad shame if the baby hadn't made it because I had to drive someplace that didn't wasn't even open yet.

Very prompt and quick!! I recently found a dog near my home. Called the shelter. They came to pick up the dog. Saw it had a chip and they found the owner and took her home!! The gentleman even stopped by back to inform me the dog was back home! Awesome service, 👏.

We adopted the most sweet lab/shepherd mix. We were told she had a yeast infection and that it was almost healed. She would need a little bit more medicine and some baths. As soon as we got her we took her to our vet. It was not a yeast infection at all. This poor dog has severe allergies, 3 differ t bacteria infections all over her skin and a staff infection in both ears. With the proper medication(multiple including allergy meds and very strong antibiotics) she is so much better. We have to give her a bath every other day for months. This dog is well worth with the issues but wanted to let people know care does not have a good vet they use and does not tel the whole story of the dog. We are well past 1500 dollars of vet bills and medicines for this sweet girl. She is a totally different dog now. We feel that we rescued her from the rescue at this point. We did try and talk with staff of care. They wanted our record from our vet to show what they had done. Once we sent them the info…..silence. Unfortunately we had to surrender her back. We weren’t the right fit for her. She needed a family with older children because our toddler stressed her out. She also needs a home with other dogs for companionship. We gave them all of her vet records and information of how we treated her over the four months we had her. We got two different vet opinions and they were the same. She is now up for adoption. They didn’t post updated information after surrendering her. They used the original information and posting from when we adopted her in July. So, I feel like whoever adopts her is going to be boat because they are going to get accurate information of what her medical needs are. They aren’t happy because I called them out on the care she was receiving when we got her. They didn’t like our negative Facebook reviews. Which made communication with them difficult. They don’t have animals best interests in heart. In a way they are doing more harm than good by not providing accurate information and medical care. I just want to save another family from going through this.
