The people are friendly and great with my dog. The manager Courtney showed extra care for my fur baby when I left out of town. When his food got low, she called me to inform me. I ordered more food for Cody and placed an order thru Instacart, and Courtney stayed a few minutes later until the order arrived and gave me a call to let me know that his food was delivered. I appreciate what they do for my fur baby when I'm out of town. He enjoys going there, and I can't wait for the weather to break so he can swim in the pool.
UPDATE: My pampered pooch had surgery at an independent veterinary practice. They were WONDERFUL! She didn't have to wear a cone either. The veterinary practice was creative in keeping it protected. That said, it has come time. Here we go, AGAIN!! I'm truly disgusted with Banfield. My insurance plan has gone up AGAIN, but the Veteranarian isn't able to freeze the skin tag off my dogs head, and she keeps rubbing it to where it's bleeding. The doctor says she doesn't feel comfortable putting her to sleep to remove it because my dog is 16. Why does Banfield not have any less invasive methods besides surgery? Or just prescibing medicines that don't work. Or they have to farm you out to other pet hospitals because they can't properly diagnose or treat your pet. Banfield, don't respond to this review because you really don't want to help pet parents. 😒
A caring vet hospital. They love their patients and take special care of them. I highly recommend them.
Horrible place....Horrible people...had an emergency..holiday week..with my dog..refused to help or see him unless I purchased a" pet care plan". I was more than willing to pay their fees, but a useless care plan wasn't going to happen..said I had to leave him and pick up later...emergency and dump my dog alone in a cage for hours? Nope..were rude and very uncaring..took him elsewhere..only went there because place was close..who uses this place? They suck..Hot a response from Banfield..wanting my contact information...not sending it..I called them out and now they want to talk to me..BTW my dog was stung by a bee over his right eye..eye was droopy..watering and over the eye was swollen..I came home and gave him half a benadryl..he was gone later..It's the no help offered that really pissed me off..and no advice on what would help him..I apparently know more than their "vet".
I would just like to say thank you to Dr. H and the entire staff for the compassion and love that they gave to my family as we said goodbye to our doggie Zoey. They went above and beyond to help my daughter with the process and to reassure her that everything was ok and she was not gonna be in anymore pain. They allowed us to spend as much time with her as we wanted and let us sit and hold her paws and love her in her final moments. So thank you so much for the compassion all of you gave to us and our best friend of 14 years ❤️
I’m so distraught with my experience with Banfield and Dr. H. Who has been our dogs primary vet for the last two years. Yesterday our two year-old female German Shepherd star showing signs of distress. We immediately took her into Banfield Snellville to Dr. H and left her for a drop off appointment. Within the hour Dr. H had called and let us know that she had GDV this is something I had never heard about so I questioned Dr. H as to what it was, she explained to me her stomach turned but I still did not understand what she was saying. She briefly told me and said my dog needed emergency surgery that they could not do it there. I would need to find her somewhere else to go and suggested two places to take her to. I called both of the places there was no answer, and the other one said they could not do the surgery. I started calling emergency vets in the area to no avail, I called back and spoke to Dr. H she gave me a couple other options and let me get off the phone. Those other options were unsuccessful and I called her back at third time and asked her how soon she needed the surgery Dr. H said within an eight hour period which we are about a hour into. But she had no real urgency. We found a vet that would do the emergency surgery. They were an hour away. We went to Banfield to pick our baby up and that is the first time they showed real concern. They said they do not know if she will make it the hour drive to get to the next vet, but go ahead and try to take her. And all the confusion we went to the incorrect Vet address, which threw us into a complete panic. We immediately called Banfield and asked what vet we were supposed to be at as they did not give us proper information to the vet that they did speak to. Immediately the Vet we were supposed to be at called the vet. We were currently at to ask them if they could perform the emergency surgery explaining them The emergency of the situation has my baby was literally in the back of my truck dying. We had four other vets from clinics that had never laid eyes on my dog calling all the vets in the area trying to get her scheduled for emergency surgery. Banfield did absolutely nothing to help. By the time we finally made it to surgery, it had been too long five hours, and my baby died during surgery. She was not strong enough to make it through because it has been too long and her blood became toxic and poisoned her. Mind you she was a perfectly healthy, two-year-old German Shepherd. I called to speak to Dr. H the following morning she immediately jumped at me telling me she felt attacked when I was trying to explain to her they(her primary vet) should have been more involved since time was of the essence. She never really expressed no real urgency, concern Or compassion. All she said was she needed surgery… SHAME ON YOU DR.H AND SHAME ON YOUR STAFF IN A WHOLE FOR NOT HELPING WHEN WE WERE IN CRISIS!! I be had 2 dogs pass away because of banfields lack of care! AND I WILL NEVER IN LIFE TAKE ANY OF MY PETS THERE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!! NO COMPASSION!!!
