This facility deserves 5 stars. Brenham Animal Services was much more than my husband and I ever expected. Friendly helpful staff, and best of all a wonderfully sweet declawed kitty! I had wanted a declawed cat for a long time as we already had one. I love ❤️ love my new friend, he is my baby Kitsy!

Very kind staff. We thought carefully about what kind of pet we wanted before we committed. We wanted an new family member who would be a good fit with us. The staff was very helpful and helped us get the right cat for us.

They do a great job here. All the animals seemed happy and well taken care of. We got a kitty here, they charge $50 but he's already had some of his shots and they give you a coupon for like $150+ towards getting his other shots. So they essentially pay you to take the cat. Staff was polite and helpful as well.

Imagine sitting at the breakfast table sipping coffee when you see a ~3 to 5 ft snake bee-line straight to you car and climb up into the undercarriage before you can say “boo”. Hmm, what to do? Call Brenham Animal Control and see if they have any suggestions? They quickly sent a very personable and knowledgeable ACO who was very helpful. Although due to the car’s design, we were unable to find the snake, the ACO nevertheless helped identify the likely culprit, explained the snake’s natural behaviors, thought of some options for us for dealing with it, and overall just helped us feel much relieved about the situation. We got a dog for my aunt everyone there was so helpful and the lady that helped us pick the perfect dog had a lot of information about all the dogs she showed us. It was an awesome experience.
