They where easly to work with. My new English Springer after grooming is beautiful, and sweet. She just needed loving. They answered all my questions before we drove 4.5 hours to get her. They put our dog that we took up with us in an outside run then took the new dog out to meet each other. It took awhile for the old family dog to warm up, but I think they will be best friends. I did go inside and each dog was happy and the place was clean. They had many out side dog runs. Thank you, Julie and Denny
In the summer of 2016, Clover Run Rescue saved several dogs slated for euthanasia from an animal control facility in SC. One of them was a shy, skinny, pregnant pointer/coonhound mix. Several weeks later, the team helped to deliver her puppies and began nursing her back to health. In January 2017, they put her picture on Petdar (Petfinder's phone app). I met Kathy in Athens and she allowed me to take Daisy for a short run through the neighborhood. We adopted Daisy who then became our much-loved Clover. A whole year has gone by already. Clover has blossomed into a funny, happy, family member. Thank you Clover Run Rescue for loving our Clover all the way to us.
We found our last puppy here a couple years ago (Sterling). They were really great through the whole process. I think they have a great space for rescuing dogs and managing them while they try to find forever homes. Our pup has been a great addition to our family and healthy as he can be. We wish them the best as they continue their mission to find dogs homes. We would definitely rescue another dog here.
We recently adopted a young German Shepard from this rescue group a short time ago. This little guy stole our hearts from the beginning and we immediately had to bring him home. We were not planning on adopting a dog that day but sometimes fate has other plans. I have to say that Cathy was amazing with this process. This is a rescue. They take the dogs that come from less than ideal situations and try to give them the best homes possible. Yes at times the dogs are going to be sick and need care, which they are upfront about and do everything they can to alleviate the stress of that, including 30 day free insurance. They are not a Breeder, they are a rescue, so when you get a dog from them, expect to rescue the dog and give it the proper care it needs. It may be a little sick, it may need some extra help, but that's what it needs, to be rescued, so as far as our experience, they went above and beyond. They can only do so much with limited funds and backing. Cathy met me recently When our new puppy was still dealing with some of his tummy issues. She gave him another round of antibiotics and made sure he got the proper care he needed and was feeling his best. I would highly recommend this rescue and the amazing people who work so hard to find these lost little pups new forever homes. A little love goes a long way. No one ever said it would be EASY, but saving a life IS worth it.
I am currently in the process of seeing a dog and they were super friendly and made sure The dog seemed to really warm up to me. It was love at first sight, and I think they knew it too! I have always adopt a senior or adult dogs and realize that more lark likely less adoptable dogs they heard my story and understood and realized it was. I called and they called me right back and I was able to communicate and get the process going. Can’t wait Finally receive our newest addition to our home. I strongly recommend this organization.
We have adopted 2 of our 4 dogs from here and never had an issue. Cathy was more then awesome and provided us with all the documentation we needed as well as the pet insurance for 30 days. Which she clearly explained to us how it worked. Would definitely adopt another dog from them without hesitation.
