Wonderful board of directors and shelter staff. They care deeply for all the animals in their care, even when resources (and the facility itself) are extremely limited. I urge everyone to place yourself in the shoes of staff and understand how emotionally taxing it would be to see some of the worst cases of abuse and neglect over and over again. Be patient, be kind, and aim to help above all else!

Some of the best people to interact with! They were very patient & understanding! Would recommend going there for anyone who is looking for a dog! Our dog is the SWEETEST thing ever!

Thank you, GCAO! We made the 2 hour drive to see a puppy and got there almost at closing time. We appreciate you letting us take our time and to meet a different dog than the one we originally came to see. She has been a joy in our home ever since! The process was easy and fun. The staff were all so nice and shared some funny stories about our little gal. Thanks again for a positive interaction.

Went in to save a puppy and adopt, they made it super easy and I got to see a couple dogs and fell in love with Ethel. She's been doing great loves the family and is the biggest snuggle buddy.

We got our dog Lincoln there and he's the best dog in the world. Super smart and learns really fast. He looks like a giant puppy.

Adopted an adorable kitten here. Staff seemed caring, cat was in great health and he’s turned out to be a great addition. McFly!
