This is the smiling face of my dog at the vet. She leaps out of the car and wags her tail during nearly the entire visit. The treats probably have something to do with it, but we love Dr. Shram, Dr. West, and ALL the staff. When we’ve had medical and behavior concerns, they’ve been very attentive.
My previous vet closed. I called Paws and Claws to see if they could get my cat in for an urgent visit. They didn't have any urgent appointments but offered a visit a ways out. That's fair enough - I didn't really expect to get rushed in same day. I asked if they thought it could wait to the visit they offered or if I should go to an emergency vet (cost was not a concern). The receptionist demanded money and told me to figure it out myself. I called another vet. Same scenario but that receptionist walked in the back and asked a vet tech. They said I should go to an emergency vet. I'm glad I didn't take the appointment they offered and potentially cause my pet to lose his sight. I guess I did take her advice and figure it out myself... I figured out that I should see a different vet. I would have happily gone to an emergency vet for this issue and seen them for regular vet visits but I prefer to see someone who genuinely cares about what they do.
Used as our vets for a few years. The assistants and receptionist were always very pleasant and happy to see our pets. Up until the other day when the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional when my wife called with a question. Mid sentence she interrupted my wife by putting her on hold and was even more rude when she returned to the phone. Enough so we decided to change vets. Too many vets available to put up with being disrespected by a receptionist.
Dr. Schramm and Kendra were wonderful today with my kitten, Iyla. The clinic is super clean and welcoming. Would highly recommend! Huge thank you to you both!
My family is thrilled to have found this veterinary practice. The Drs and staff are some of the kindest, most compassionate people for the care of our pets that I have found not only in Ft. Collins, but in other states where we have lived. They listen attentively, they offer advice and recommendations for any issue raised, and through their demeanor as they treat our pets, they calm any apprehension they may have for being in a vet's office. As strange and unusual as it seems, my Charli (whippet/pit) and Mylesdavis (grey tabby) look forward to their visits. The office is comfortable, the staff is friendly and professional, and the doctors are exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. On top of all that, they are affordable which is much appreciated during these uncertain economic times. I can't recommend this veterinary practice enough.
