This was my first visit to Jordan Veterinary Hospital. My first initial contact was by phone and the receptionist was very pleasant, I explained my Mother's dog's situation and my limited funds. She was very understanding and took the time to work with me on setting up the appointment and made me feel very positive about the animals wellbeing. On the day of the appointment I was very surprised by the hospitals appearance. It's a beautiful building. The receptionist was warm and very welcoming. They were running a little behind but kept us informed we would be seen soon, and we were. The vet tech was a joy and treated the animal with compassion and was very caring, with a gentle touch. She explained how the visit would work and what we should expect from the veterinarian. The veterinarian was equally welcoming, compassionate, she explained everything in detail even the pricing and what I was paying for. They took time to answer questions and explained why this test and that test was needed she explained every possible condition and outcomes to expect, even the bad. I could not be more pleased with my visit to Jordan Veterinary Hospital, it's staff, pricing and appearance. I wasn't upset with the bill, the dog is my mom's world and I would of paid twice the amount to make sure my Mother and her dog are given the best care, and Jordan Veterinary Hospital did just that. I will be returning and recommending Jordan Veterinary Hospital to all my friends and family! Thank y'all so much! ~Joe Cromer

My dog has been a patient for almost two years now. never had a problem until recently. I called to set up an appt where my injured dog would be dropped off by a family member. I left specific instructions with the receptionist to call me about any treatment plans. I didn't want my family member to be put on the spot to make any decisions for my dog. I was very clear that they were to only treat my dog for the issue we talked about. sure enough, after she was dropped off, they gave her shots that I specifically requested them to delay, along with testing her for heartworms when she had previously been tested in the last 60 days. I was never called or consulted and when I sent an email to raise concerns about this issue, I was promptly dismissed and sent my patient history. this is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had involving a vet office. I'm starting to realize why so many of my neighbors have switched from Jordan to North Davidson. it's not worth the prices they charge when the service and communication are so poor. take your furry loved ones somewhere else.

Jordans boarding is not somewhere I would recommend for your fur baby. I went on vacation for 2 weeks and when we picked up our baby he stunk like he lived in a dumpster and his tail was so matted it was horrible. His poor face was never washed and his eye boogers were terrible. He must of barked so much his voice is horsed. Then charged me $960. I was so upset I couldn’t even speak. My poor lil man I feel was not taken care of. He has a medical issue and is on meds which require more bathroom walks. They told me they take them out only 5x a day. Even though my boy needed more due to the meds. I give them 1 star for boarding but the vet side is awesome.

Used to take all 5 of my animals there. After an annual visit that set me back $450, I decided it was time to look elsewhere. They push expensive bloodwork for senior dogs (just why?), and it's all about the upsell. I now go to North Davidson Vets, and they treat my senior dog's symptoms, don't try to sell me unnessary services. Plus, they're boarding rates are outrageous, they don't offer any pickup on the weekends and grooming is expensive as well. Unless you have unlimited funds, I advise you look elsewhere.

We called this practice when it became evident that our 17 year old cat was ready to go. Although we were not established patients, they made our hardest day easier. So kind and compassionate on this sad sad day, I would highly recommend..

Ok, 1st of all, this place is super expensive, they charge for things they don't really even do. Stay away! Do not recommend! Go to North Davidson Animal Hospital! Much more reasonable!
