So glad we went there so helpful and kind people. It took a little time because someone brought in a seriously injured cat can you took priority because it was badly injured we brought home a brother and a sister and they are doing fine we just love them.

This is the nicest animal shelter I've ever been in. The dogs are well cared for. They really care for the dogs. It's a great place to adopt a pet.

My daughter paid to surrender a dog. Two months later this dog was abandoned on her property by staff. She was threatened to be arrested if she didn't care for this dog. She can't afford to feed this dog, it is vicious, it has bitten her hand all up. she has demanded it gets off her property ( dog weighs more than 100 pounds). This male staff person was told that there had been an unexpected death in the family just before Christmas and it wasn't possible to care for the dog. He had the nerve to say that my daughter's life or happiness didn't matter at all! The rudest most vile staff I have ever seen. You don't tell a depressed person their life isn't worth as much as a dogs!

We stopped in to see a cat they had posted online. In about 15 mins, we were able to interact with her and shortly after, walked out with a new pet! Everyone was friendly and helpful.

My only advice is to take the cat/dog to a good vet immediately, because my poor cat had three different parasties and a skin infection. I don't blame the shelter for it because they have an insane amount of cats to watch over, but it will make your life so much easier if you do. Otherwise I thought the staff was very loving of their animals and very kind. Everyone is freaking out about the declawing thing, but for me they just calmly explained why it was a policy and how it was harmful to the cat, so I don't understand why everyone is freaking out about it.
