We have the Purrfect setting for people needing a break from life, anyone needing some cat therapy or anyone looking to adopt a new best friend. Feline fans love to gather in the cat lounge to relax and interact with wonderful rescued kitties. KKC is a state licensed animal shelter for cats, and all adoptable cats are fixed, microchipped, vaccinated and ready for their furever indoor homes. I love cat cafes and what a great spot to put one. These places are just the smartest way to adopt a cat. Their cats were so friendly and I liked that there were more cats than people. There was no shortage of cuddle time. Consider adopting here because you get proper time to assess the cats and their actual comfort level with you. Believe me I’d adopt all the cats but we have 3 already lol

Just experienced Karma Cat Cafe this evening! What a wonderful place! People visiting the cats were respectful and quiet. Some played with the kitties, some just held and enjoyed them. We lost our favorite cat to cancer two weeks ago, we weren't sure how we'd feel about going...it was very therapeutic and enjoyable! Every cat needs some love! Such a great place to visit and donate to!

I cannot recommend this place enough, I go every time I'm in mount pleasant. The owner does the absolute most, she's nice, she's an amazing cat mom, she does this all non profit because she's that amazing. This is a lovely place to go to if you need some cheering up, or a new friend! In the lobby area there's ALWAYS something to buy, stickers, pins, magents, shirts, etc. All of that money acts as a donation going towards the cats. She fixes them, gets them any medical attention they'll ever need, and no length of stay is too long for the cats, meaning she will NEVER put them down. This is one of my favorite places on earth, please check this place out💕

I made sure we stopped here on our way back to Traverse City from Frankenmuth! I absolutely adore cats and I love cat cafes so I was so happy to be able to visit Karma Kat Cafe! Before petting the kitties bought a pin and some stickers and candy too! The kitties are free to roam a big room with plenty of places to hide and play. Almost all of them loved pets and attention and generally got along. One got adopted while I was there — congrats! Happy these kitties have a great community around them 😻 best $10 I ever spent!

Adopted a cat, cat has had a long term infection. Owners will reply and say a part of the agreement says it is a possibility because of their background but the agreement also stated that the day of being adopted they’re in good health. Pretty contradicting.
