THIS PLACE DONT DESERVE NOT EVEN HALF A STAR MY DOG WAS THERE FOR 2 WEEKS AND WHEN WE PICKED HER UP SHE LOOKED TRAUMATIZED AND EVERY TIME I TRIED TO PET HER SHE SQUEALED LIKE IF I WAS GONNA BEAT HER , SO PRETTY SURE THE WORKERS BEAT THE DOGS BADLY CUZ BEFORE THE SHELTER SHE WAS VERY HAPPY WITH US.

No one ever picks up. They won’t respond to calls. They won’t take stray cats. Absolutely useless. Why are our tax dollars even paying for this department?

The front desk has slways been friendly and helpful with questions. I personally have never adopted an animal from there-yet-but I do go and look. Have been doing this for 8 years or so. Way back one summer I did complain to a kennel person about the dog runs in the middle of the facility not have any shade.

Animal control officers fail to respond to to my call about a dog on a small balcony in an upstairs apartment complex where there is no shade. he has a plastic dog carrier that is covered with plywood. that is not sufficient shade and the animal suffers due to no air flow. the officers came but no contact was made. the dog will die from the heat. they dont care.
