Happy with our experience! Had great luck with the aurora and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Reindeer + doggies ❤️, what’s there to not love? Decided to have our dog sledding experience here because it’s a rescue and we get to play with the dogs while we wait for the aurora. For first time aurora viewers be mentally prepared to stay up late! We ended up leaving around 2am because we were too tired from flight. Still saw lots of activity while we were there but supposedly peak aurora activity happened closer to 2:30am-3am. Don’t do what we did and nap before coming 😅.

What an absolutely incredible experience! My partner and I live in Anchorage and decided to make the trip up to Fairbanks when my mother in law was visiting so she could experience the Aurora and all that the area has to offer. She’s wanted to go dog mushing forever and this was better than any of us could have imagined. Being able to feel what it’s like to actually operate a sled in a safe way was so neat! The guides were so patient as we battled our nerves and even when I needed to stop halfway through to stretch out (my body definitely felt it the next day lol). Almost as soon as we were done mushing, the Aurora started lighting up the sky like I’ve never seen! To top it off, this is a non-profit rescue that’s doing incredible work in the community and for the entire sport of mushing. Keep up the good work and raising awareness! Y’all are amazing!

Our guide was the amazing and knowledgeable Lindsay! She was wonderful! She took the time to explain everything about the Aurora and what causes it to be mild or explode into a light show. We happen to get a very unexpected surprise! A Corona Aurora borealis appeared and this only happens when the auroral activity is at its peak. It’s the eye of the magnetic storm. We also got to see some red aurora light coming through!!!Thanks Linds, for schooling us on this! It was magical! This was the best birthday trip ever. 🧡🤩 The cabin was so comfortable and clean with snacks and hot drinks available. The outhouse was actually a delight to use, also very well maintained as was everything else. Thank you!!!! I would book again in a heartbeat !

My husband and I took a dog sled tour on New Year's Day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the year! Our sled guides, Greg and Joe, were so knowledgeable, friendly and fun. They provided perfect instruction and made us so comfortable. The grounds and trail were breathtaking, the dogs are amazing, and so is the staff! We also got to meet and pet Jasmine the reindeer. Best day. So much fun. We’re hooked!!!!

Such a great place for a sled dog ride! I've brought multiple guests to enjoy a ride with Sirius and they always have so much fun! The trails in the woods are so beautiful, and it is such a joy to meet all the dogs! As with most multi-dog homes, you will always have to put up with a little dog hair and jumping dogs- it's all a part of the experience!
