I contacted Pet Pride four years ago looking to adopt a senior or special needs cat who could benefit from a quiet home without other pets. Pet Pride matched me up with a beautiful but terrified three year old girl who wouldn't let anyone even look at her without growling. I brought her home with great encouragement and moral support from the rescue. It took time and patience, but I now have a gorgeous, delightful and loving companion kitty enjoying her best life with me. If Pet Pride had not been faithful to take her in and care for her when she was at her worst, I would never have found my best buddy, Tigrr Lily.

I adopted this handsome fella, Mr. K., from Pet Pride in November 2023 and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I called and made an appointment with Meridith who welcomed me in and introduced me to a lot of kitties needing homes and told me what she knew of their back stories. Mr. K. and I bonded immediately. I needed to prepare the house for receiving a kitty. A couple days later I was ready to bring him home and Meridith had all the paperwork ready. I gladly donated to this cause for the adoption - Pet Pride provides a critical service for animals in our community. He had all his shots already, was fixed, and microchipped. A few days later I had a few questions to clarify my kitty's history so I called Meredith and she patiently explained it all again. I will definitely choose Pet Pride again to donate to and when we next want to add a feline friend to our family.

We adopted Cappy from Pet Pride, he’s been with our family for a while now. Staff was careful to make sure that we would be a good fit for Cappy. I could tell staff really cares about the cats in their care and wanted him to have a good home! He is such a sweet guy! Pet pride staff even notified me when Cappy had wandered off and was posted on Fairbanks Lost Pets Facebook page! Pet Pride provides such a great service.

I adopted my cat Molly from Pet Pride in 2019 and had an excellent experience. I recommended them to my sister, and they have completely failed to assist both her in finding a new companion and also a suitable home for a cat in need. They had been “holding” a cat named Monte for her to adopt, but everytime within the last 3 months she asked to start the adoption process or stop by and see the cat the cat suddenly has to go to the vet for this that or the other. It is understandable that cats come from unknown origins and complications happen but it’s become VERY clear that whoever is managing Pet Pride is either completely incompetent, or just is utterly unprofessional and will not give my sister a reason that she won’t help home this cat with my sister who is a completely adequate caretaker, financially stable, and has grown up with cats her whole life. She has just recently started completely ignoring my sister. I would no longer recommend Pet Pride to anyone. Just find a cat at the shelter or Alaska List.

After losing my best friend of almost 20 years I was so lost, so heartbroken. Emily with Pet Pride called me and said she had the perfect boy for me. You can never replace what you lost, but Quinn and I are celebrating 2 years, and he’s everything I had longed for. Thank you for bringing Quinn into my life, and making sure he was healthy and strong

The human being I spoke with over the phone has no courtesy. She was very offensive and insulting, five stars for PETA members here. Also if this lady asks you if you want an indoor or an outdoor animal. THAT QUESTION IS NOT AN OPTION!!! I was called a bad person, disgusting and what seemed like mildly racist things were said. I wish I had the ladies name because that kind of behavior is not okay.
