Wonderful, caring team of animal lovers. They took care of our Delilah as if she were their own. Dr. King, Belle and Beth made us feel as if we were family. Beautiful facility too!
I was extremely dissatisfied with my vet experience at this facility. The vet seemed disinterested in my opinion concerning our 10 year old German Shepherd which we love and have made part of our family for the past 9 years. Both the vet Audrey Hagood, and her technician, Camden seemed rather agitated that I had many questions concerning their recommendation for treatment for our dog. My questions arose since I had received consultations from multiple veterinarians who all had given the same opinion and treatment plan for our dog, and all recommended use of the same medication, Audrey however was recommending an entirely different protocol, further advising me to use the products they endorse and sell in their office. Upon getting a quote for the incurred expense to their suggested treatment plan, I asked if I could purchase the same prescriptions from Chewy since I have an existing account with them and know the price would be significantly less. That is when they seemed to become even more agitated with me, yet still trying to convince me in their methodology and their pharmacy. Finally, after calling my dog's regular vet, and confirming with them the best treatment plan, I agreed to fill the one much needed prescription with them, (even at a higher cost as my dog was in need of it and it was the only prescription that all the veterinarians agreed was necessary for my dogs diagnosis and recovery) and I explained I would order the other medications recommended through Chewy. Their in house pharmacist filled the prescription and Camden then tells me to order everything from Chewy, telling me they were waiting on a shipment for the one medication I approved. As I paid for the services provided, I see/hear their pharmacist get frustrated and question why I was not going to pick up the prescription she had just filled for my dog. I was in shock to discover that Camden had just lied to me, and without any apology. I found their staff to be more concerned with selling their products from THEIR pharmacy without any questions arising from their pets owners, than providing a clean, honest, and caring service to adequately care for my pet. Additionally, there was dog urine on their lobby floor and dog feces outside their office, and there was another employee that seemed nervous walking past my dog, which was sitting quietly by my side. Worst vet visit I had ever experienced, and I have been a pet owner for the past 50 years.
We have taken our animals to Dr O’Dell for many years. He is a wonderful vet and friend to our family. His team is great! Here is our latest visit to the hospital, seen by Dr King: My cat became paralyzed from the waist down at 3 am. I held him and took him to wait for Branson Veterinary Hospital to open. Before 7 they came to see us at the car and invited us in. We were treated so compassionately and I held him the entire time. It was hard to say goodbye but we were with our caring vet’s team! Thank you for always being there for us!!!
Thank you for taking care of my little three-legged kitty. I appreciate you holding her an additional day when logistics weren't adding up. She's happy to be home and she sends thanks, also!
Branson Veterinary Hospital does a wonderful job of meeting our pets' needs. They are helpful in getting us signed up for the pet insurance and so good with our dogs and cats. Dr. King is the best! Roxi and the other technicians are so friendly. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants their pets to have the very best.
A quick response and thorough investigation of symptoms by two doctors saved the life of my K9 buddy. Qualities that stood out - great communication, professional atmosphere, and qualified techs that followed up with aftercare. A side note : med size dog swallowed a 2.5 inch ball....didn't think it was possible, beware of dangerous toys.
