These fine people really care for these guys and gals. Went in hesitantly to find a forever friend for my lonely girl. They showed me "Shorty". She's a compliment to our home and a personality comparable to Abby, my bigger Akita mix. They are best friends and even though she doesn't need it, Abby is protective of her. They are active and the light in both of their eyes has grown tremendously over the last 6 days. "Shorty", who's name changed to "Maddy" after a few days, is here to stay and her potty habits are slowly changing to outside lol. Maddy is the white one.

I came here looking for a small dog and harry styles was just the sweetest pup. I wasn’t able to get him, but I did adore him. The lady who was showing us around introduced us to all the animals and all their personalities and even let us play with them. It was a really nice experience! (Picture is of harry styles)

Love this animal shelter for even existing! No kill shelter now that's beautiful! Beautiful people working here doing what they love Just discovered on their page a wish list of supplies they need or already have. And guess what I'm going shopping for these helpless animals. Remember they need us but we need them more.

I volunteer and this place is one of the best most caring locations. A no kill non profit who's top priority is the safety and welfare of the animals with passionate staff who go out of their way

We adopted a kitten from CASI. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable about each cat. It was hard to decide but we found Makani to be our favorite. The application process was simple too. I’m sure they can use more donations to help animals in need.

Meet Rosie. She followed us from a parking lot (apparently the dog dumping spot South Side Lions Park) where she had been hanging out for at least a month. No microchip. Who does this? 😡 A sweet, friendly, obedient, not aggressive (even with her food)lovely girl who desperately wants a family. Converse Animal Shelter accepted her despite being full, because they have HUGE hearts 💕 💞 ♥️ ❤️ and could see someone will want her quickly. She would be a great family dog, so playful and happy! Go get her!!!! Please, can you send them 5 or 10 bucks? Yes, I did want to take her. Joey not so much. I'm still weepy.
